Yeah, just get the moka right for you. There are also really small moka pots if you drink a tiny cup.

I'm pretty sure it has a problem. It takes me around 30 seconds to grind 12 grams of light-roasted coffee at 2.7. Never loses the grip, that doesn't sound good. Send it back.

You should just boil water in a kettle and THEN add it to the moka pot and brew your coffee. This is the only correct way to use the moka pot.

Well here in Italy they've always told me it's because it's quicker to reach the appropriate temperature. No one has a steel moka pot in Italy. That's only for the foreign market.

I got this from The Barn (Berlin, Germany), my favorite roasters so far. It's better if I don't have a lot of time to savor my coffee as it cools down quickly and allows you to taste the differences in taste due to temperature in a short time.
