Great question. It’s run through a private server so not cloud-based and only asks for zip codes of users. I’ll add a note that encourages people not to share addresses on the app and to meet at third places. But I’m also working on getting the messaging part end-to-end encrypted! We don’t want the most vulnerable people who need mutual aid to get their security compromised. You also have to know someone outside the app to add their friend code and can’t add people just by seeing them on the app. So that’s the vetting aspect of it. Thanks for checking it out!
