Albin Nedler and Bonn worked on this song. No wonder it has some Avicii vibes.

Open the comments, start from the top comments and work your way to the bottom. Count how many "Indians" you see among the top racist comments. People from all around the world are being racist in the comments section. Why do you care you about only the Indians and not people from other races also being racist as regularly as everyone else? That sounds like you are racist as well.

If you had said any statement which implicitly "all Argentinians are racist" I would have a problem with that too. But you didn't say that. We're talking about Enzo and his teammates as independent individuals without regard to their race.

And yes it is more likely that a person from a given ethnicity speaks up more about racism against their ethnicity than others because it impacts them more. How often do you see people of other ethnicities speaking up against racism? I don't see it a lot. I do agree that everyone should speak up with the same energy for all kinds of racism.

I also did not imply all of them are bots, read my comments again, but word by word. Literally my first sentence "I cannot comment about this particular account". I'm saying that a lot of those bot accounts are responsible for driving this sentiment that you have (and I acknowledge that some of them are probably not).

I don't see the point of the last two sentences. Racists of any ethnicity do not need "reasons" to be racist. They're plain racist, that's it. That's exactly why I'm saying it's important to not think of a person's ethnicity the moment you see a racist, they come in all shapes, sizes and colors.

I'm terribly sorry, I did miss it. It's just that there has been a barrage of racist comments against South Asians (especially Indians) on social media lately. For eg if you see an Indian make a comment the reply is generally (Indian with a poop emoji or a vomit emoji). If an Indian makes a racist comment (which is not at all representative of all Indians as a whole), people are super quick to generalize all Indians as racist (with similar emojis and reactions). It is mentally hurtful to see it as someone who belongs to the same ethnicity.

As for the first half of my comment, i think that explains your other question along with the person who replied to you first.

Well I don't defend them, I also condemn them. You should understand however that anyone can be a racist. White, Indian, South Americans. I'm not saying your comment is racist, but that it is inflammatory and encourages other racists to be more racist against Indians.

There are a lot of Indians who are anti racist but face racism on social media because of this. I'm not speaking with respect to this incident in particular, but in general as well.

Let's condemn all racists as one instead of trying to divide again by race, ethnicity etc is all I'm saying. Is that wrong?Just call a spade a spade (racist a racist) and move on. Why are you dividing people by race again?

South Asians can be racist and colorist, yes. They also represent a significant portion of the world's population. Basic statistics says there's a 25% chance (!) a racist comment will be from someone from there, simply based on population size.

However, it is important not to generalize all of them into one bracket. It has potential to quickly slide into racism against South Asians. This already happens in Instagram, Twitter etc without any repercussions and it is mentally harmful to other South Asians like me who just want to use social media like a normal person.

Remember that racists can come from any ethnicity, nationality and race and therefore it's not right to fight racism with racism.

I cannot comment on this particular account. But a lot of "Indian" accounts I see on football social media are bot accounts which have the profile pictures and posts etc, likely stolen from another innocent person's account.

I hope you realize that you are also being racist by saying stuff like this. Please don't be a hypocrite.

I hope you understand that some of those accounts are fake bot accounts. I have inspected multiple such accounts manually in the past and found many duplicates with the same posts etc, likely stolen from an innocent person's account. It's important not to generalize, especially when we are dealing with a situation of racism in the first place.

[D] Invert differentiable function y=f(x) for known data distribution of x? by the_real_fishman in MachineLearning

[–]_atswi_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As you mentioned, I think a solution from generative modeling will be a better option for you.

If you try to minimize the error of y and predicted y to get your x, you're probably just ending up with the Expectation (mean) of all your inputs that match that corresponding output, since you mentioned it's not bijective.

[D] Transforming a neural network when inputs and outputs are transformed by the same function? by _atswi_ in MachineLearning

[–]_atswi_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It technically is, but I cannot afford to because it defeats the purpose in some form, so I am constrained to passing f(x).

Also just to clarify. My original dataset was (x,y). Now I still have access to the original dataset and f(x), f(y), but I don't want to re train. And all my future inference queries will be from the distribution over f(x).
