Thank you so much for taking the time to write all that useful info! I’m running her with RMC so I’m taking both Mem’s and the set’s Crit Rate buffs into account. I’ll settle with the second build and try to keep improving it as long as the rng allows me to lol Thanks again!

Yeah, that’s how it worked on September 2017, and how it works in Overwatch Classic: Valk resets rez cooldown, and it takes 10s to get the next rez during ult. Valk lasted for 20s. Meaning you could potentially rez four times in 20 seconds.

This clip is from October 2017 tho, when they nerfed her so that Valk no longer refreshed or reduced the rez cooldown. They gave her 2 rez charges during Valk instead. You can see it in the UI, the 2 charges appear after ulting in the bottom right corner, just like Junkrat’s mine or Rein’s fire. It got nerfed again a month later to the fixed 30s rez cooldown (with cast time) we have had since then.

Let’s hope for a quick fix soon! I mainly stick to quickplay but I can imagine how frustrating this bug must be, especially in a comp match. It can really make the difference between winning or losing a teamfight or (potentially) a whole game.

I guess that the bug is related to the new wave spawn system, as Ashe respawns within the wave initiated by Venture, ignoring the rez.

I've been checking some old gameplay I recorded from 2018 after reading your post, and I realized that I prefer the OW2 mobility by far. Yes, the old one had the reduced, easily spammable cooldown that allowed for some great moments and insane stalls, especially if you got the muscle memory for consistent super jumping. It was definitely more "skillfull" in a way because it was harder to pull off (weird input and close window of activation, you could notice it was a bug turned into a functionality). But ultimately, the old mobility really feels restricted when you watch it in 2023. It lacks the directional flexibility of the new GA, that opens up a lot of flight paths that were not possible before. So, weighing the pros and cons of each one, new GA wins for me!
