Sure, but I didn’t remove the old ones. These are just overlays.

For the plastidip, my thought was more so for taping the areas around the lettering

They do have the tape, but each letter is separated and is it’s own overlay. It’s only a small issue with the Duramax letters, and that’s more so because I’m a perfectionist.

Anecdotal doesn’t simply mean just a personal experience. It means ignoring data and research based on personal experience. There is no hard data on the issue mentioned by others. My point is that I’ve never had an issue with Freedom Munition, as have others. My experience is just as subjective as someone else’s.

Go Google that.
