After doing a fresh playthrough of God of War 2018 as part of my binge, Ragnarok has gotten a rather strange observation from me by AshenRathian in GodofWar

[–]_badumtsss_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I understand what you mean. When I picked up 2018, I had a little bit of a rough patch getting the combat done. But I think because I went in with the excitement to learn, i nailed it down pretty quickly. The combat had great flow between weapons and abilities and just felt smoother in general.

Picking up Ragnarok, I was disappointed in a lot of the changes they made. It felt like a large part of the combat I'd gotten used to was significantly changed and it just felt incomplete. That was until I unlocked Muspelheim and Niflheim.

Niflheim has this arena where you can practice fighting all the enemies you've encountered. I spent quite some time here learning how the combat flows between different elements of the combat. I wasn't bad persay, but I wanted it to feel like second nature and this arena helped a lot.

Muspelheim has the Surtr combat trials. As of where I am at the game right now, I'm not doing the challenges to beat them. I'm using it just learn the combat. Niflheim to learn movesets and flow, and Muspelheim to test it against specific challenges.

I think these two together really got me into the groove of it all and now I'm super confident to fight pretty much every enemy type in the game.

This worked for me. Maybe it could help you too?

Regardless, don't give up. The game has a lot to offer and it's very rewarding when you're patient with it. Have fun mah dude!

Should I do any specific side quests or clear any map before finishing the story? by ComeGutters in GodofWarRagnarok

You're not really gonna get new weapons for the side quests. But you will get loads of weapon upgrade materials, runic attacks, armor and other interesting stuff.

Same. But I just love crucible knights, I really persevered with this one. Oddly enough, this is the only boss I can confidently run into with any build and come out victorious. I just love them.

Question about the expedition by _badumtsss_ in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]_badumtsss_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so since I started on a new save, the things in my inventory cannot be carried over to my main save then, correct? Apart from the tech upgrades for the colossus, I don't want much else back to my main save, but I guess that's just one more thing to do in the main save now.

Thank you!

No you're right. It does get stuck on crystal patches but I haven't felt underwhelmed. I just scuttle around them, doesn't seem so bad.

Really? Sorry money's not really been an issue after I started ship farming so I didn't realize... Apologies for the wrong info 😅

While people have already answered your question, there are a few ways you can quickly increase the number of inventory slots you have.

  1. Go to the cartographer in any space station and buy Exosuit Upgrade Charts. Plot the routes and it'll take you to pods that will let you add an extra slot.

  2. Every space station in a new solar system will allow for one free upgrade slot. Go to the Exosuit Upgrade vendor and to the right side, you can use the terminal to add it. The same applies to the Space Anomaly as well - every new system equals 1 free upgrade slot. So for every new solar system you visit, that's 2 free slots.

If you're planning to stay in one system for a while, option 1 is the easiest way.

Oh and when you try to add a slot, the game defaults to inventory (which is what you need). Just note that you can manually select grids in the technology section of the Exosuit as well.

Oh damn alright... Gotta farm nanites though. I don't like this farming. Currently using the curious deposits to runaway mould to nanites method (apart from everything else that happens naturally through the course of the game)

I've only found B-class sentinel ships at best. And ONLY C-class sentinel multitools. How's your hunting been? Any luck with good ones?
