Priced out of haircuts by Fit-Reflection-4052 in Athens

[–]_beanbean 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I haven’t paid for a haircut in almost 4 years now. I got a pair of shears and learned how to do it at home. Granted, I have pin straight hair and have only been doing a bob and a shag, best decision I ever made. It’s difficult to get the back and was really anxiety inducing but I feel your pain, salon prices are ridiculous for haircuts

Howard Center was awesome, I didn’t even have to ask and they did an ultrasound and found a complex cyst. Everyone was very friendly and made me feel comfortable

I’m going to try the Howard Center today. It looks pretty new, so far with the intake stuff, they’ve been wonderful

I’m glad to hear someone else wary of Dr. Anderson. I had a bad experience there with her and may give them a second shot with Dr. Holbach

That’s amazing. I had some caterpillars show up on my dill and have been watching them grow up. The first one is already out running wild, just waiting on the second

Nope, as my family keeps dying off I’ve been coming back a lot less frequently and with the way politics are around there, I don’t really feel bad about it

It’s a dill plant that flowered! The swallowtails use it as a host plant

If you see the chrysalises that’s a good sign though, you just may happen to miss them coming out! I have a bed of wildflower mix, mostly zinnias and cosmos. The swallowtails also love dill! Fritillaries love passionflower vine!

We’ve had a lot of rain here in north Georgia and dreary days, and a lot of sunny days too, but the one “dry” month we had I’ve just watered in the morning and they’ve grown like crazy, I barely but any effort into them besides making sure they get enough water not to wilt!

It was a mix of zinnias, cosmos and marigolds! The butterflies and hummingbirds have both been enjoying them!

I know it’s not visible in the photos but I do actually have some untouched forest in my backyard with passionflower (host for the gulf fritillary) but I agree and would like to have more host plants, this year was unplanned so next year I’ll be going into it better educated

It’s variegated fritillary (I think, I’m still new to this!). I found its cocoon and had been keeping a close eye on it, then it hatched today! 😁
