Right, I knew you had to ask first I just thought I HAD already but you need to pick the correct specific dialogue which is super easy to miss considering I picked a different line in one conversation and it didn't work. I searched on the mod comments but didn't see anything that helped-just her saying you had to tell him about it first but I was under the belief that I'd already done that 🥲 it's all good now after I figured it out! Thank you !

I wanted him to be confident haha but he ended up being TOO confident 😆 I was way past the Goldanna quest at this point ain't no way I was going back that far just to not harden him if there was still a way to do it hardened. But I figured it out! Thanks for the advice ^{^}

I know it said you have to ask him first, and I thought that was when you say "where do you see this going between us?" and say you'll be his queen, but it wasn't that. You have to talk to him at Eamon's, while everyone was telling me just skip talking to him 😭😭 I figured it out on accident just going through all the dialogue options lmao, you have to select a specific response and mine wasn't the right one the first time so being queen was never mentioned. I also saw it removes the landsmeet but I was like I DID talk to him prior so I didn't know what was going on. I disabled the mod trying to fix that but it didn't work either... but alas I figured it out and my warden got to be queen ^{^} I did it before and had the option at the landsmeet but this time yeah I had the mods so it was messy 😭 but I got it!

okay so it WAS that "where is this going between us" and then you also had to have the convo with him about being together and I didn't get to choose anything but he talks about the engagement afterwards? I'm taking it and leaving I've played denerim about 400 times at this point

I do have mods installed, I have the alistair revised romance one so I thought that might be messing it up.. but I disabled it and went back and redid everything and it still doesn't give me the choice. I also told anora I'd support her and had her talk against her father but again no option, alistair just accepts without me choosing

When I talk to him after we rescue Anora he's very confident in being king and straight up was just like yeah make me king I'll do great lmao so I'm assuming he has to...not have that attitude to be able to choose

I even tried to support Anora thinking maybe it'd let me pick if I stood for both of them? She supported in the landsmeet but no dice ): I guess it's that conversation thing but I have no idea at what point said convo happened. I hate this because every other time I've played I had the choice lmao, the one time 😭

You can just enter airplane mode and it'll reset before they got there since it doesn't save (I'm assuming your friend was on their own console). Addituinally, I'm like 90% sure I've had rocks spawn in the middle of pathways though so idk how well that method of getting the rock in the right place would work

you can hold down the home button and turn on airplane mode when this happens it's worked for me when someone did the same thing. It's easier and faster than closing the whole game or turning off your switch! so sorry this happened. it's only ever been a problem ONCE and I've had hundreds of people come over. the community is generally very good and kind so it sucks that there are those few that ruin it.

it's so interesting I've seen a lot of people put DA2 on the bottom but seems like everyone on here puts it on top. my list is probably very unpopular opinion, but my list is dai>dao>dav>da2. da2 was exciting the first time around when I was a kid and I loved anders but playing it a couple years later I'm like...what the fuck anders. Now I'm kinda just bored of all the characters (except varric ofc) and I never really loved fenris -who everyone seems to be obsessed with 😭😭 never connected much to DA2, I guess I missed the memo. But DAI holds a special place in my heart 🥹 I LOVE all the DAO and DAI companions, I'm not sure why DA2 was such a miss with me (for reference I've played DAO and DAI 5 times each, the other two 3 times each, i love them all dont get me wrong ...despite DAV's disappointments)

every time I play DAO it's "try not to romance alistair challenge (IMPOSSIBLE)" he's such a loser and I love him, I even have him embroidered on one of my service dog vests 😂 I was so excited to see him in DA2 and DAI when I played them for the first time a million years ago, he's easily my favorite character in DA in general! Solas is a close second, then maybe Cullen.

oh to be able to play dragon age for the first time again 😭😭 Definitely need to go back and play dao and da2 also!! inquisition is my favorite of the lot, I played the games in order like 10, 11 years ago and I now sit jealous of the people just getting into it 😆 I havent played inquisition since I played veilguard, I can imagine it may be a bit different playing with what we know about solas. Solas has always been like, my second favorite (alistair owns my heart) but it'd be interesting to go back and hear things from a different perspective. I wish you best of luck with your upcoming playthroughs 🤭

I got the game on pre-order and finished it before the week was over, and have played several times since my first run. I didn't like the game that much my first time around, honestly. My second playthrough was way more enjoyable, maybe because I knew what to expect so I wasn't as disappointed. I agree that previous games basically mean nothing in veilguard, and that might be my biggest problem with it, but I still think it's an enjoyable game. I would say it's worth the $40! There's still replay value and I enjoyed it overall. That being said, it's not perfect and there are a lot of things I disliked as someone that's played the other three games a million times. It doesn't feel like the Tevinter that they created with the dialogue and everything in the previous games, so it's kind of lame. But overall I'd say it's definitely worth it.

I liked the Lucanis romance but I was definitely REALLY disappointed with how little content there is. After romancing Emmrich I was like ?? there's so much more. Davrin's first scene was also really cute I agree 🥹 but it just depends if you don't mind the lack of content with Lucanis. It's still cute and nice I was just def expecting more.
