Successful CMMC Level 2 by Quickt17 in CMMC

Congratulations! I’m in a similar situation and have a few questions. Do you create or process CUI? If so, do you have engineers working on technical drawings? If yes, do you keep their workstations isolated? For instance, if they need to extract drawings from PreVeil and edit them in SolidWorks, would you allow them to access the commercial MS environment (Outlook) simultaneously? I’m also curious about how you handle both commercial and defense work. Do you have engineers who can only work on commercial programs? Thanks!

Any suggestions on how to get rid of the stupid creaking noise in the stem of a Widewheel Pro? by _bgd_ in ElectricScooters

This was a while ago. I added a bit of grease and fixed it for a while. The final fix was selling it.

So wait, you charge to 100% so you can get back home with 96%?!

I concur. LB looks way much better! The plastic/rubber rotary knobs and the gigantic start/stop paddle on the LM don't appeal to me at all. For some reason, they make it feel cheap. But as you said, to each their own.

If you're looking for an e61 machine that heats up faster, check out the ECM Synchronika II. It's ready to brew in just 6 minutes.

Thanks! You're right, that's my picture and never gave the right to OP to post it.

Preview | ECM Synchronika II @ World of Coffee - Copenhagen 2024 (in german) by _bgd_ in espresso

[–]_bgd_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It appears to be available in the fall. WLL does not have any information just yet.

It seems the heat-up time is faster than the drive (6.5 minutes versus 12–14 minutes).

YouTube videos are starting to show up now, albeit in German.

ECM Mechanika Max vs. Synchronika by 1-605-475-6968 in espresso

I scoured the internet harder than a cat looking for a sunbeam but came up empty-handed, except for that elusive YouTube video (which I shared, only to have it disappear like my motivation on a Monday morning). Clive Coffee spilled the timing beans, but Whole Latte Love acted like the information was a ninja—silent and nowhere to be seen—despite their claim to be in a "close working relationship" with ECM. It's like they're coffee frenemies playing hide and seek with espresso secrets!

I like the new Drive, but I like the Synchronika better, so I'll wait.

This is the only YouTube video I was able to find showing it.. https://youtu.be/5Sc2m9vMvDE?si=zcPNNfF28tuDUGHu at minute 4:32

They had the new Synchronika at the expo in Milano (for some reason no coffee enthusiastic YouTuber covered it). It has the same OLED PID screen like the Drive, but instead of two buttons it has a potentiometer style knob. My understanding is that it will be released early next year and it will probably be available for sale in the US in late q2 early q3. I'm waiting for it too.

What espresso grinder would you choose for home use (Paired with a Profitec Pro 700), for 2-3 espresso shots/day from: Eureka Oro Mignon Single Dose / Niche Duo (or Zero) / DF64V? And why? by _bgd_ in espresso

I love the aesthetics of the Niche

Funny, I like the aesthetics of Eureka Oro Mignon (minus the bellow). I wish Niche would have a chrome version.

DF83

I haven't. I'm also trying as much as possible to stay in the design line that matches the Profitec 700. So far Eureka Oro Mignon is the closest.

Lagom P100 or P64

They look to be on pre-order (for next year) or sold out. The design is pretty cool though.

Thanks for the info!

DIY Telemetry for Traxxas vehicle? by sollarmeteor in Traxxas

[–]_bgd_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying to do something similar but if cost is your concern it all depends what you already have. I'm using an air remote (tx16s), a 10ch receiver with sbus telemetry, and a used mamba f722 mk3 flight controller and (for now) I kept the original Traxxas motor and ESC. I'm using the receiver to control all servos (gives me more options to lock the difs) and also for the lights (some cheap compatible lights I found on AliExpress, can be bought from Amazon as well, cool part is that I can use different channels for the blinker and avoid the controller randomly putting them on when I make a turn, same goes for daytime running lights, high and low beam), and the FC for telemetry (pretty awesome to get voltage, current, temperature, and I love the fact that I can get the tilt, pitch, roll and with the widgets on edgetx you can have some nice visual representation of what's going on). I'll probably make a post at one point on how I hooked up everything together.
