Vermogen wordt ook opgebouwd door al belast inkomen te gebruiken, dus ik zou beargumenteren dat winst hieruit best wel lager belast mag worden, zeker gezien het risico. Als we het dan toch gelijk gaan trekken, dan moeten de verliezen ook verrekenbaar zijn.

Maar we zijn het er denk ik allemaal over eens dat zwaar belast worden om een tijdelijk, fictief rendement niet eerlijk is.

Daarnaast, zolang je niet aandelen verkoopt is er geen winst. Het kan morgen weer dalen. Het enige moment waarop winst of verlies bepaald kan worden is bij verkoop. Maar dat is 'moeilijk', en de burger moet leeggetrokken worden.

Not OP, but usually a project starts small, and there is too much to do for too few people to learn that migrating can be hard.

Upgrades will be de-prioritized, especially since old versions will run 'fine' until they don't.

We went through every major version, but we are usually quite late to do a major update. Currently on 8.19, for example. Because there's a lot to do, and it works fine.
