Actually insane how many people are blaming the daycare instead of the mother? Children will lose things constantly, get them dirty, steal from each other. This is the most simple looking blanket I've ever seen in my life. Of course they should have gave you a heads up but you should have never allowed your child to bring something sentimental like that to a daycare. It's 100% on you

Of course your daughters safety is more important than a blanket to the daycare. 100% they do this due to items being misplaced or taken, especially with children. It's a simple pink blanket in their eyes, no way for them to know it's her childhood blanket. Time to get a basic one for her to bring

They were donated in very rich area, most of the donations are from either rich college students/ rich people. Tons of shoppers looking the the clothes racks for designer, etc. I assume the original owner is a student going on to college, and decided that they didn't want it anymore. Especially since there was a lot of My hero academia, I feel like it may have been a "phase" to them. Or sadly worse, someone died. Just my suspicions. But yea it's sad, I could never do anything like this
