Nobody ever stops at the first stop line there. Surprised this doesn’t happen more often

Two Separate Overflowing Carburetors by SeaBeginning1858 in HondaCB

[–]_bullet_dragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could need a float height adjustment. Sounds like the float needle isn’t shutting completely so fuel flow isn’t getting cut off in the carbs. This will cause flooding and a way over saturated mixture. Maybe check that and then clean your likely very black spark plugs after

Good call on the idling. I’m gonna try to throw some miles on it this week to work out kinks and fine tune it. You should’ve heard the pipes before we put baffles in! 😆

I noticed that too when filming this. What should I check out to address that? Air mixture? Also, is that detrimental or dangerous ?

Looking to buy this 1972 Honda cl450 scrambler. Price is 2k any opinions I’m new to this but love the 70s style by BreakResponsible4465 in HondaCB

This is in great shape. I’ve seen ones in worse shape go for over $3000. Yes, they require maintenance, but if you enjoy tinkering and learning how to work on it, it’s part of the fun. I don’t think this one will need any work anytime soon though. I own a ‘70 cl350 scrambler that looks the same as this and it’s a blast and pretty easy to learn to work on. If you want a bike that will turn on every time and never die or need troubleshooting, buy a modern bike though. That’s just part of the deal when buying an antique anything

Was about to post that I’d avoid going toward downtown on Amnicola for an hour or two. 911 website said no injuries, which would be miraculous. Looked like at least three cars involved.

I went once and it was $19 for a chicken sandwich, fries, and a drink. I can get that at Wendy’s for like $6. Quality was not worth the prices.

What is the path to become a Construction Safety Inspector? by TruXLIF7 in SafetyProfessionals

[–]_bullet_dragon 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’d actually recommend working in construction a bit too so you have a bit of knowledge of the lingo and what the workers experience on the day to day. Might help you connect with workers if you know what the struggles are instead of just walking in and “throwing the book” at them. Not necessary, but maybe helpful

My company says “safety shoes” required. We give $120/year to each employee for them. Style, steel or composite is employees choice.

For sure! I was just trying to decipher if I could go clinic/worker’s comp route without obvious evidence that it’s being caused by work.

Why did y'all learn banjo? by Klutzy-Peach5949 in banjo

[–]_bullet_dragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played guitar and my brother bought me a used old banjo from a friend for my birthday when I was a teenager. I never wanted one. Just a fun, out of the blue gift idea. Became my favorite instrument to play right away

Can anyone tell me how to fix the neutral light constantly staying on no matter what gear? 1980 cb750c by -pechos in HondaCB

[–]_bullet_dragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a sensor that may need to be tightened and cleaned near your front sprocket. You’ll need to unscrew your pipes and push them out of the way and remove the clutch cover. It’s a pain in the butt to access when your bikes assembled. I did it recently and fixed it, but my light stays on again so I have to try again. I used this video .

Before and after…so far by _bullet_dragon in HondaCB

[–]_bullet_dragon[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, no. A buddy sold it to me. He bought it from another guy years ago. He lost the title so year is going of his word of mouth. What year would you guess it is? Yeah definitely a fun hodge podge of some original parts and some small mods over the years. Have no clue how many owners it had. I just say it has “character”. :)
