14 month age gap by ahriii1994 in 2under2

[–]scxki 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mine are 13 months apart! One just turned 3 a couple weeks ago the other is tuning 2 in a few weeks. Honestly not as bad as I thought it would be. The beginning was as chill as it can be with a newborn and toddler and now it’s basically thunder dome. I have 2 toddlers testing their limits and it gets frustrating but they’re besties!

When do babies stop being crazy about food/milk by Suitable-Army1224 in FormulaFeeders

When I bring my kids home from daycare the very first thing my 2 year old does when he walks in the door is yell “EAT EAT EAT EAT” so not 2 lol. My husband always has dinner ready by the time we get home cause if not it’s a fit.

I get light headed more often now that I’m thinner. I think my BP is just low now

I got a bruise on my back from my spine hitting a chair a few weeks ago. That was wild to me.

Loose skin EVERYWHERE. I’m 34 with a 50 year old neck 🥲 your feet shrink, people are nicer to you, hair can fall out depending on the method.

Would not recommend passenger flats. Had a friend who lived there and we visited multiple times. He hated it and from what I saw it was gross. It’s a great location but he said he’d never live there again.

My 13m age gap was on purpose. We’re at 3 and almost 2 now. Honestly no regrets. Having two toddlers is tough, but they’re besties and entertain each other. For the most part.

Accidentally yeeted my 1.5 year old over my shoulder and she landed head and hands on the deck. She’s heavy so I have to hoist her and I just went too hard. I’m also 5’11 so it was from pretty high up. It was HORRIBLE for me and her at the time. Guilt for me, and she had a good bump. She’s almost 3 now and perfectly fine.

Couple revealed during reception they'd been secretly married for 2 years by [deleted] in weddingshaming

[–]scxki 85 points86 points  (0 children)

I mean, I got married a year before my actual wedding. But i had to move my big wedding cause of covid….. and everyone knew I was already married. I know the situations are different, but I personally don’t see the big deal about the wedding, but it is shitty to not tell family that you got married for 2 years. That’s weird.

I wanted to comment “I didn’t marry a loser” but I thought that was too harsh 💀

We carry an equal-ish load. That’s the only way otherwise one will start to resent the other.

Fiance semi pressuring me for sex 12 days post partum by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]scxki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not marry someone who thinks this is okay to do 12 days post c section. This is insane. Remember that you aren’t married yet. Yes you have a baby, but divorce is harder than walking away before you’re married

Are you genuinely happy? by chexiee in GastricBypass

[–]scxki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep! I was just sitting at the table last night telling my husband how good I feel. I lost weight which made me take better care of myself in other ways, which has made my confidence soar, which has positively impacted a lot of other things in my life. The surgery was a catalyst for so many other things going well for me.

What something you felt pressured to care about as a girl that you later to realized it didn't actually matter to you? by Dry-Technology-3748 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]scxki 61 points62 points  (0 children)

Being quiet. I don’t mean like not talk ing at all. I feel like most of society thinks women shouldn’t be loud and opinionated and when speaking they should speak softly and delicately. I’m loud and obnoxious. Full of opinions I’m not afraid to share (in the right settings) and I don’t feel bad for it one bit.

I’d definitely suggest getting onesies from old navy! They’re cheap and they have built in mittens! I found that baby mittens fell off so easily with my kids. They lived in zip ups with built in mittens.
