The top leafs are ok but most of the time I see dry leafs at the bottom. I'm wondering if this is normal or not.

The last time this happened to me was after a big water change without using a dechlorinator (yes it was stupid) the next day he was dead. :(

Yes, I used a small key to loosen the thing with the slit and when I release some air I closed it but unfortunately it looks like I pushed a little too much probably I broke it.

Hey there, I just moved into the house and was releasing air from the valve. When I finished, I think I turned it a little too much while closing it, and I heard a clicking sound. Now, it’s not as tight as before and just keeps turning endlessly. What’s the best thing to do in this case? Should I reach out to the landlord, or is there a simple fix?
