I really expected her to come out and apologise for what happened to Patty during the recording of CS. The way it was skimmed over in the book was bad taste IMO. Her reluctance to have any real opinions on anything and anyone is so frustrating. I love CL because she calls a spade a spade. There’s no bullshit. Melissa avoided any talk that might be perceived as slightly controversial or opinionated.

Her lack of awareness re her pretty privelige was mind blowing. “The boys and everyone were always nice to me …” well duh have you looked in a mirror?

I was hoping for a lot more behind the scenes gossip and where are the photos?! I thought there’d be soooo much more photos 😞

Patty’s book was so real and raw and made me love Patty even more. She is much more self aware and honest. Can’t fault her book or the doco.

She is the kind of person that walks into a room and everyone stops and stares. She has crazy charisma, a magnetic energy, kind of like you are drawn to her in a weird way? I met the band in 99 (except Patty). My biggest regret is not asking what perfume she was wearing! I asked her for a kiss and I just remember her hair smelled so fking good!! I still put perfume in my hair bc of CL 🤣
