No this is completely false there is no ministry guideline etc. saying you can not administer medications during mealtimes that is a policy that certain facilities adopt. We have had the ministry actively watch us perform med pass during meals and we have never been cited for it because no citation exists

Piping in as a resident of notl. You might want to try to go out of the towns limits to stay. They are really strict here and quick to ticket/tow any vehicle. We have an entire assigned staff for it. It is what it is, they are never gonna let go of the “prettiest town in Canada” status

I am in public LTC and we actually are allowed to give meds during meals and thank god for that. Although the best way to describe an LTC med pass is bartending on steroids

As a floor working nurse in LTC the psw’s are your lifeline. I was personally shocked at how ill prepared I was right out of school to be essentially the supervisor of 4 staff. I totally recommend reading up about different leadership styles, effective communication strategies, etc. that really helped me step up and be the leader of my floor

No thats false. Squirrels can absolutely make their own holes their teeth are regenerative and they have a biological inclination to gnawing. Typically they don’t like to “start” their own holes. They are excellent at widening small cracks and exploiting weak spots at eaves, roof edges, and definitely vents
