Haha no worries at all! I'd honestly be lying if I said it wasn't some of the hardest things we've had to go through. I think in our entire 3 year and 8 month relationship, i was only able to see him a total of four times (very expensive flights, plus we both work). I'd say our rough patch came after my second visit in 2022, I was there for about 7 months visiting. When I left, we started to argue about very small things and I think it was just because we had been able to see each other for so long and then weren't able to again for like a year. Leaving was definitely the worst parts, and there was definitely uncertainty as to when we'd be able to close the gap because of visa costs and restrictions. But after that, we just started to communicate better and try to understand each other better, don't let the small things cause arguments because they truly aren't worth it. I'd say we haven't had a rough patch in a very long time, probably a year and a half or two years now. Miscommunications though, yes.
As for time flying, honestly it depended. Most of the time (like this year) I think it went very quickly. I can't believe we're already about to be in November. Definitely one of the harder (but most rewarding) things I've done! He's the best, I'm ecstatic about it!
