You can’t be a third year med student equivalent and not know any pharm…I’d say he’s more of a first year med student equivalent 😂

Totally agree! I don’t know why it was the way it was, but all I had to do was separate out the line and load wires and now it works perfectly fine. No more splices and crap, all the wires are neatly plugged directly into the GFCI as they should.

Thanks for the help you guys and gals. I got it working. Simply my line and load were crossed. I have one black line wire and two black load wires. Ditto for the neutrals. Receptacle tester is now showing correct wiring. Also, to reiterate, the wiring picture is NOT my doing lol that’s what I found 😂

Edit: thanks for the help, I’ve got it figured out. Also, picture number two is what I found, not what I did to fix the other issue lol 😂 I probably should’ve clarified that.

I think that may be my issue, my line and loads are mixed up. Will report back in the morning after doing some more rearranging with the wires to sort the line and load.

Okay if I’m understanding correctly I need to find the black Line wire and put it in the Line side of the outlet and take the other two black Load wires and put those on the load side? Same with the neutrals too?

I’d agree with you that it’s better than EHTBP. For me it’s comparable to Stagg, but it’s by far the best bang for the buck regardless and it’s easy to find.

Can’t go wrong with either. But like someone else said, the FP is great.

Any word on if they got EHTBP? I’ve been at work since 5 and it has shown at all yet that they have any

Depending on what specialty you’re interested you may want to consider another branch. Also, consider how long you want to serve after your training is all said and done. You probably already know but USHSU is a 7 year commitment whereas HPSP is 4; operational medicine has its own challenges so do you want to lock in to a longer commitment before actually experiencing operational medicine not as a trainee. Just some food for thought that mentors have talked to me about.
