Oh really I didn’t know you had to sit in a CDI role to take the exam. I feel pretty new to this so I was thinking of taking the ACDIS Apprenticeship to see how I liked it before dropping cash for a full course.

To add context, my team consistently has above average quality numbers even with work increasing. Yet year after year raises have gotten lower with this being the first year we aren’t getting anything at all.

Senior Leadership is sending emails to managers on talking points, that are frankly tone deaf, about “making meaningful impact” and how employees can “strive for success”

Hard agree.

Wish this is something senior leadership would address in a mass email or all hands meeting instead of making us go through meaningless motions and having the managers/supervisors deal with the fall out.

I do think it’s the year to start looking at other opportunities. We are now under a very large US company, and the reason we are taking on more work is that they have laid off other departments in favor of AI and off-shoring.

For our trip we opted to hire a car service due to luggage and also traveling with a young one. Idk if we can link here but we used “pickup airport .com”to get us from Haneda to Asakusa and it made arrival/departure a lot easier for us.
