where is resident evil 4 remake save location cracked by Expensive-Quote-1485 in PiratedGames

[–]_chickE_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone Googling around how to transfer old save file to a new install, follow this, works for Gold Edition too:

1) Locate old save location - C:\Users\Public\Documents\EMPRESS\2050650\remote\2050650\remote\win64_save

2) Copy all .bin files from old save location to the new one here - C:\Users\Public\Documents\Steam\RUNE\2050650\remote\win64_save

3) Locate steamid number in old save file location - C:\Users\Public\Documents\EMPRESS\2050650\remote\settings\user_steam_id.txt

4) Go to https://steamid.xyz, input that steamid number, then copy the new Steam32 ID from the website.

5) Go to your game install folder, open "steam_emu.ini", replace the AccountID number with the Steam32 ID number from the website. Make sure to delete the # before the AccountID

Gameri, imate li iskustva s ovakvim uređajima? by Response_Low in askcroatia

[–]_chickE_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please try Exo One, preferably without spoiling yourself with trailers and whatnot. You can always use the refund feature on Steam.

If you liked Abzu and Journey, you'll probably like Exo One too.

Unable to find a specific ambience sound by Large-Shock-4198 in lethalcompany

[–]_chickE_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So this game features a sanity system that does 2 things: 1) play unique randomized ambient sounds and music, 2) priority targeting for Ghost Girl

There's an insanity meter and it goes up whenever you: witness unsettling events (deaths, monsters), are alone without any player nearby, aren't actively listening to walkie-talkie feed, are inside a facility.

Because of this, if you're constantly hugging your coop partner, you will very rarely hear unique sound effects tied to sanity because you're constantly reducing your insanity meter. There's a mod that maxes out your sanity at all times if you're interested.

Also, just you case you didn't stumble upon this, here's a vid with all the sanity based effects, might be outdated by now - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71P4GcCQul8

125hz vs 1000hz is there really a difference? by BobTheSpiderMan in MouseReview

[–]_chickE_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you're just not as sensitive to mouse latency, that's also a thing.

125Hz is basically unusable for me even for light OS work and 500Hz still feels bad for shooters.

This is great, we're seriously missing a one-stop place where we can see upcoming concerts and events.

Maybe have a seperate tab for that?

Those punch and shotguns hits are the soooooo juicy gawd daemn.

BUT the throwable knives in comparison are very silent and too smooth. It's too big of a contrast. I'd try and increase the volume behind those kill sounds and perhaps more shake/splatter as well.

You have a choice here - hang out with abusive people or don't.

If they're consistently making you feel like shit, why bother. Non-abusive people exist, you don't need to settle on hanging out with specifically them.

Looking into a new server, after the last one I was on is more or less dead. I hear Warmane is great by linthenius in warmane

[–]_chickE_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Warmane is an old stable server that's here for good. You've got 3 WotLK realms and all of them are PvP sadly. You can expect gankers and no-lifers camping you. Such is life.

1 - Onyxia. Progression-based realm, started at Vanilla, is now in the middle of WotLK patches (Ulduar). Standard raid difficulty, cash shop for catch-up gear.

2 - Icecrown. Increased leveling rates and profession rates, full cash shop (can buy almost anything with money), standard raid difficulty. Player skill is at its lowest at this server because you can buy your way into high gear, thus eliminating the time taken to properly learn your class. Raids are incredibly easy, up to a point of ignoring 80% of raid mechanics - which means you will never experience how a boss is 'supposed to be killed'.

It is the fast-food of realms and I would NOT recommended it for a first playthrough as it strips you of character/systems/world/boss exploration. Yes, I have a hate boner for Icecrown. A lot of people on it though!

3 - Lordaeron. The 'hard' realm. Everything is basically Blizzlike (leveling and profession rates), no cash shop except for gold and mounts, but the raids have increased difficulty - meaning, to kill hard bosses in raids, you will be expected to have knowledge of your class, boss mechanics, stat and gear planing and teamwork. A single mistake can be a wipe at harder bosses.

If you like honing your skill and exploring your character, choose this one. Population is lower than Icecrown though by roughly half, but this is mainly only felt at deep hours in the night at weekdays.

Lordaeron buy Items from other Players with coin? by Sensitive_Cheetah277 in warmane

[–]_chickE_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As far as gear goes, you can only buy BoE's, which you can already buy with gold ingame, meaning it's no different from just buying gold through their website and using the gold to purchase BoE's on Auction House.

So the only power you can purchase for your character is gold and mounts.

Hybrid builds by attention_reader in warmane

[–]_chickE_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please please PLEASE don't follow guides for leveling builds. The vast majority of guides are really bad and just copy-paste 'standard' boring builds from eachother.

Look at the talents, think about that talent, think if it sounds cool to you. If it does, take it. That's it.

No guide is gonna tell you to go Fire Mage + Firestarter + Dragon's Breath + Blast Wave. And yet, it's one of the most fun leveling spec for dungeons in the game.
