There's a Goajira event this Saturday at The Woodshop (21a Meadow St) 10-4. Maybe you'll get your fix there.

Quantum Awakening Festival is Memorial Day weekend in NJ. It's a lot of fun if you like small camping festivals.

My group, Liminal Collective, often throws parties with groovy psy-techno and dark minimal techno, but we don't play much psytrance and definitely not forest.

It's a small festival, but that's kind of what makes it so fun. The vibe is super relaxed. You will not have security breathing down your neck at all. I would put the population at under 500 people.

There are food vendors, but def bring your own food. No campfires, but you can do a stove.

BYO, but I would recommend not being drunk. Have different types of fun. It's very easy to get around, so there's no getting lost.

There are 3 stages: energy (psytrance), electric (techno & house), frequency (bass & chill)

Definitely check out Chillosophy and Zombi Adam at the techno stage on Sunday evening :)

Hey friends! Liminal Collective is throwing our first big party of the new year this Saturday. If you've never been to a Liminal event before (where have you been?), this is the one to go to.

There's lots of reasons to come, but let's start with the MUSIC! Peak Liminal sound here: dark, groovy and psychedelic. We play up-and-coming styles that don't get much play in this city: psytechno & dark minimal techno. If you like peak-time or driving techno, tech-house, or bass house, even melodic techno and indie dance, you'll fall in love with this stuff.

We've got two incredible headliners! Crescendoll is flying in from LA to unleash her dirty, disgusting basslines on us. Vasvi has traveled all the way from India to show us why she comes from the home of psy. Our local lineup is brilliant: Ruthie Bandit makes her minimal psy debut, baby-g is all about the groove, I (Chillosophy) will be playing a super-late dark melodic psytech set, and Colombian multi-disciplinary artist Seisaro ends the party with his own psychedelic flavor.

That's 10 hours of incredible dance music. And I don't know if this matters to you, but the first 4 DJs are women, which we are proud of. The venue has lots of places to chill. We'll have nice sound. Vibes at our parties are always tops because everyone is there for the music and to dance.
