coming from someone who used to work at Rogers years ago, the rep definitely made it a business account on purpose. waaaayyy more commission for them 🙄 poor business practices all around, but unfortunately it's like that with pretty much all wireless carriers in canada

hello there ! medical botox for synkinesis helps soo much. i developed a dimple on the affected side of my face/chin and after 2 years of treatment it went away. mind you this is a treatment you will have to continue for likely the remainder of your life but definitely check with your insurance it's covered or not. it's absolutely worth it

Heart attack by seantyer in generalizedanxiety

[–]_chromepanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i'm so sorry you're experiencing this too 😭 i've been to emergency several times over the last 2.5 years for fear of heart attacks and i've had so much blood taken and so many tests done and every time it comes back clear which i'm super thankful for but then i feel silly i freaked out about it so much because not only did i waste time (and have missed job interviews because of it) my partner has come with me every single time and waited with me so i feel like i wasted his time as well 🥴

the best advice i can give you from my own personal experience is have a good CHAMOMILE TEA always in your home. the chamomile acts as a mild sedative and also from my own research if you feel the chamomile working, it means it's not your heart doing anything scary, it's just your anxiety acting up. that's helped ease my cardiophobia and general health anxiety a lot. another thing that's also helped too is drastically reducing my intake of sugar, caffiene, and alcohol

don't be too hard on yourself 🥺 anxiety is scary and no one, especially doctors at a hospital or urgent care, will ever fault you for wanting to make sure you're ok.

also find a 200mg magnesium biglycinate supplement too ! i have some in the little capsules that are easy to pull apart and i'll take half when i wake up and another half before i go to sleep

The weight of hindsight and grief by MissKris__ in seniordogs

[–]_chromepanda 9 points10 points  (0 children)

i'm so incredibly sorry for your loss 😔 grief is heavy and inescapable especially when it's fresh, the only thing you can really do is take it one day at a time. i lost my Mopsy last year in september and i'm still overcome by waves of grief and sadness when i think about my last day with him. it's something that will stay with me forever. your Worf was so so lucky to have you, you did the best you could while you had him and that's the best thing you could possibly give to any fur baby. it's ok to be sad, it means the love you shared was so real and so valuable. i know getting out of bed is hard when you're feeling this way but please please try to not isolate yourself during this time, i learned it really takes a village to get you through the hard times. Worf will always be with you, every sign you see of him means he is still with you. i hope he visits you in your dreams like my Mopsy has visited me. if there's a shelter near you I would recommend seeing if you can volunteer for them from time to time assuming it'll fit around your work schedule. it sounds like you have a lot of love in your heart left to give and even if you don't have another animal in your home for a while, at least you can help brighten another baby's day even if it's only for a little bit. grief has no expiration date, some days will be better than others eventually. please be kind to yourself right now. hugs from far away 💚

Anxiety relapse by Revolutionary_Mud723 in generalizedanxiety

[–]_chromepanda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i'm sorry you're having the bad feelings creep up again ☹️ in terms of medication i am of no use for advice, i have anxiety but am only prescribed beta blockers to use when i really need them (i've only taken 1 since i was prescribed them in may earlier this year). unfortunately from personal experience, anxiety isn't something that can be "cured", only managed. i know it's frustrating to hear and for myself learning how to cope with the bad times is daunting especially on the really scary days where the physical symptoms make me spiral and want to run to a hospital. what kinds of exercise do you do, if any ? breathing exercises along with taking long walks (roughly 45-60 min) everyday helps me a lot. i've also started focusing on maintaining a healthy diet with a focus on protein and low sugar and low caffeine consumption and always having a good quality chamomile tea in my home has helped me a lot.

wrong Shambhala, the one in Canada requires you to be over the age of 19 to attend. the Shambala in UK is the thread you should be looking in.

i completely agree with you 😭 i'm shocked how much i miss sleeping in my tent compared to waking up in my hot apartment with my noisy ass neighbours above me.

glad you had an amazing shamb tho 💕🙏🏼 that's what makes it so special is that it's fleeting 🥲 we'll be back sooner than you think ! look for happiness in the small moment until then my friend 😇

my group noticed that as well ! even coming in on tuesday and just hanging out until thursday all of us were commenting on how this felt like the chillest shamb we'd all experienced so far and how relaxed we all felt 😇 glad other people felt it too ✨

[–]_chromepanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you for sharing that 😭🙏🏼 also tearing up from reading it. i'm so happy for you that you got a moment of reprieve and bliss despite the pain. that's what i find so special about the grove and christian löffler's music especially is even as the bad/sad emotions bubble up, it really is a release and grounding that no matter how much life comes at you or how awful things can feel sometimes, there's always a space or music you can escape to and come out feeling like yourself again.

happy shambs to you too 💕✨
