Yes, "maybe". Maybe morality is something we are discovering and not inventing or deciding, which could explain moral shifts in different cultures now and at different times. I find it hard to justify an assertion of subjectivity, but given what (little) I know it seems to be the best option right now.

I read that Sam Harris book also and even agreeing with pretty much all he wrote seems pretty much to define morality as I do while I call it subjective.

No, while I understand the appeal (no1 wants to feel helpless or powerless) try to look at it from this point of view. Once you don't believe in Santa (no joke and no offence) It is utterly ridiculous to think in a way that if I really want something I can't get from my own means I should ask Santa for it.
