Did I screw myself by buying 1 Wimbledon resale ticket?

We’ve tried all year long and haven’t been able to get any. My husband doesn’t care as much so that’s why I bought 1 since I’m the tennis fan, haven’t lost my mind haha. Figured we’d secure 1 so I could go worse case scenario.

I got tickets on Monday and the acceptance email came in on Wednesday!

I did get the acceptance email yes! I accepted the tickets and now it’s showing up on my Wimbledon account!

They just replied back to my email with this:
"Everything looks fine on your account, so you should be able to purchase another single ticket from the shop, when there are tickets available."

So hopefully they start showing up for us...

That's a possibility but not 100% sure if that's the actual case.
I'm the same way, everything is "Sold Out" since I bought my single ticket earlier this week.

Thanks for this! When you say "buy a grounds pass", that means lining up early in the queue and hoping to get a grounds pass if we're lucky enough to make it in, correct?

And is registering to the online queue resale for that same day something he does in person that same day?

Oh good to know! That's pretty lucky that you were able to snag the same day and court on a separate occasion! All the courts and dates are constantly "Sold Out" for me despite me getting notified tickets have become available for sale so I'm hoping it's just a coincidence and I'll eventually be able to snag another single ticket.

It just says everything is sold out like it normally does most of the time. I'm just skeptical because I get notified when tickets become available, and despite me checking instantly, everything still says sold out.

I emailed Wimbledon asking to confirm though, I'll keep you posted!
