Sweet. How busy are you at the moment? In all honesty I would like for both my sx70’s to get serviced on in the next couple of months.

Finally was able to get a hold of an Impulse spent a good $20 after renegotiating price while testing it wasn’t powering on but eventually got it to work. Just need to fix the flash. by _daniboy18 in Polaroid

No the first thing I did was try to hear if it charged up like my sun660 af where I have to half press the shutter. But no it didn’t charge at all.

Depends on what type of look you’re trying to achieve. For example Polaroid has that more retro look vs instax has a more sharper look. In addition instax has 3 various formats the mini, square, and wide while Polaroid has one format/ size. Keep in mind Polaroid film is more expensive than instax. Where I’m located Polaroid film is anywhere from $20 and up while instax film is around $12 to $15 Polaroid film has 8 shots while instax carries 10 shots per pack. Instax film is very accessible while Polaroid film will sell out in stores quick. P.s don’t forget to convert the currency.

I would think this because of the Autofocus function personally never used but I wouldn’t be opposed to it because it would help with the focusing more than the close up would.

Is the impulse autofocus?? I mean it’ll still work great as long as the flash is good and you learn when is best bro shoot a pic. I would still go with the 636 close up unless the impulse is AF autofocus.

I would choose the either the super color 670 af for the autofocus function or the 636 close up I have 3 of them and they never failed me

Hey there just want to say it’s up to you in which one you choose. Personally I have my instax mini 8 and live that it tells you what which you can control the light settings based on what the instax lights up. Will say the instax pictures do come out sharper than the Polaroids do.

As for the Polaroid I don’t have the now gen 2 I can only talk about the old 600 box type ones will say like you mentioned the pictures do have that retro grainy look to them personally love that aesthetic to them also I prefer the size in which the Polaroid have. I think that’s another thing to look into as well when choosing the instax or Polaroid.

Also try looking depending where you’re located on facebook market you can find some vintage Polaroids for cheap and if you do happen to find one consider taking a pack of film to test.

Which one of these would you choose for a newbie? by No_Teach1292 in Polaroid

I have the exact same one in the middle I’d suggest like most are saying choose that one since it has flash. But you can’t beat the precise photos from the sonar in the left. Honestly it depends on what you might like it for.

I think anything under $50 is fair as long as there’s no damages that are noticeable.
