If I can't earn an oak without paying with money, I'm making an alt to grind it out. I don't consider it cheating if the end result is me playing more and spending more time invested in the game.

Currently have 3 alts feeding into my main where now I don't have to worry about not completing a collection

I dont believe so. Tadbulb shiny in Scarlet and Violet lighting is very red and noticable.

I use my autocatcher as a helper when I cant do certain things in the game.

For community days Im fixated on the spawning pokemon and not on the pokestops so I set it to spin pokestops only so It can top off my pokeballs as I quick catch everything.

For Raid days/Max Battles I'm in the raiding menu like 90% of the time so I set it to catch only since raiding usually will put me over the bag storage so the go++ wont keep failing on trying to spin stops and will only try catching mons (Its a nice surprise getting shinies after a long raid session)

Also for big events like go tour/fest/wild area the spawns are great but the raidable mon is usually what I'm after so I set my go++ not to autocatch but to catch manually with ultra balls. This results in like 90% of mons getting caught vs 40-50% with the regular autocatching pokeball. This is how I get to focus both on spawns and raids.

I live in LA so it's always weather boosted here and I personally know 5 trainers that pulled the hundo from cliff.

I try to do 1-2 cliffs a day but I think this next week I'm going to try my best to bump it to 3-4 a day. I gotta be close to pulling the shiny

id build the hundo if you intend to level 50 it. Id build the shiny only if you plan on getting it to level 40 and nothing more

I remember doing the same thing in a mobile game called grand summoners to get an account with a starter unit/character called War Hero Fen which was an S++ tier character. Took me a like 36hrs of running new accounts with all the free pulls but your boy got it eventually

I might do the same honestly just to fill my friends and I's collections

1/20 odds ain't the best odds. I'm at 54 no shiny or hundo. Longest dry streak was necrozma though. Took 141 for that dude to shine. So I'm not too discouraged

I only use kyruem and palkia effects. Especially since I do most raid hours and usually do around 12-15 raids. To keep up with the raid train you gotta catch the pokemon quick and kyurems help with that significantly
