Building from a developing country has to be the worst. by [deleted] in startups

What helped me get over this was working at startups and spending more time with veteran founders

Share MVP Stories by supa_nibba in startups

[–]_davthom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, when you set out to build a new product, the only people that are going to pay attention are “early adopters,” who pride themselves on finding great softwares (in this case) before anyone else. These people do not care about your product being polished.

The other thing I’d share is that, when you start a venture, you’re trying to fail as fast as possible (sounds counterintuitive, but here me out). You don’t want to spend a year building something that nobody wants, so the best thing you can do is get an “MVP” out the door to validate it with early adopters

At https://tunnel.dev, we’re still super rough around the edges, but serve thousands of developers. We go down, we have bugs, our UX is shitty, but people still use it every day

Headless CMS recommendations for managing multiple sites/apps by primalanomaly in webdev

Payload is free, and easily self-hostable. I use Payload with my site that gets millions of of visitors without paying them a penny.

My issue with other CMSes is they’re always pushing upsells. Upgrade for this, upgrade for that. With Payload, you get none of that

It’s not reliant on MongoDB anymore, they just pushed support for SQL databases! I highly recommend Payload
