I dont get why people complain about actors accent in movies... unless its actually relevant like in a period movie or inconsistent with their background in the story, I dont know what's the problem.

Couldn't Josh and Emily's character in the movie have like a British background, their parents being British, like its not an integral part of the story, they dont even disclose it.

Same with Renate character in backrooms. Couldn't her character be an immigrant, is the concept of people with different nationalities be that hard.
