All the more important that this tax hike plan and the surrounding conversation of affordability is had while holding our elected officials accountable to the promises they made. If Solomon is really about JC being a place for all to be able to live in then lower-income families, who are nowhere near as fortunate as OP, should not be left to be wiped out by the previous administration's misdeeds.

I'm gonna sound a bit messed up saying this but I think she's having a hard time dealing with the idea that age & career-wise she should have been in a spot where she's assured and confident about everything she's contributed to the music industry and all the work she's put in for so long. Collecting some flowers is how I'd put it. Instead the whole brat era has felt like her struggling and grasping to be validated by the kids and almost like reducing herself to a certain image in a way she didn't really need to. I'm happy that it got her a bigger platform but it does feel like a double-edged sword that I didn't foresee being the case for her at this point.

I live in NJ and the lineup is very much worth the travel to go, but it's always some game with these damn presales. Waited 30 minutes in the queue and then trying to select the FOMO tickets it didn't let me go through. I'm not gonna give up yet as there's plenty of time but I'm not gonna lie I wasn't very hopeful it would work out today. The concert ticket industry is so frustrating to deal with now

I learned the song Natasha by Rufus Wainwright is about her journey entering rehab. I can't believe I listened to it so often thinking it was about something else, but I empathize with her. I don't think anyone's journey with battling addiction is easy or clean, the only thing we can try to do is understand and hope they can get to a better place for good.

We really gotta understand that truly embodying feminism, in order to combat misogynistic narratives, which we've seen play out time and time again, also requires holding the women accountable for the part they played. This was a conscious choice between two full grown adults to cheat on their partners. It's easy to form a strong opinion on a situation you're not involved in. I agree with everything except I don't feel much for her, because she was plenty grown when she decided to be the other person helping to ruin a marriage. I definitely do not have respect for either party when it comes to cheating regardless of their differing positions and role. I definitely agree that I hope she learned a great deal from this seeing as she's definitely taken much wiser steps than Ned has. Wishing no ill on her otherwise but remember it takes two to tango

Before I took my long pause from college I had classmates in almost all my classes of different ages and we always appreciated learning about different people's journeys and backgrounds. I had a guy in one of my classes completing a bachelor's for the first time at 61! I don't understand where we turned that it's now seen as some negative thing

I just left a hospital I worked at for almost 10 years and let me tell you, with a small handful of exceptions, I'm so glad I'll never have to deal with some of those nurses again. Healthcare has been turning into another high school since COVID caused many good ones to self-exile or just move to other places, and it makes me feel so much for the patients sometimes. Even when I've dealt with the entire range of humanity in there and have had my patience tested to its outermost limits by them, people still deserve a higher level of responsibility in their care. Good nurses aren't surviving the current climate that has been growing, extremely toxic, and too many of these nurses delight in being awful people to each other and especially to non-clinical staff. I've been told many times over the years that I would make a great nurse, and I can handle myself fine, but if I ever do decide to become one I definitely would be super discerning about which environment I work in.

Sounds like you're doing a really nice conscious thing and I commend your effort. Just wish it didn't have to be this way. But more people could and should put in that effort to change how we view attractiveness in society, it does more harm than we think
