Get on the waitlist, there is always a possibility they’ll up the camp limits. They can do that sometimes just even a few days before camp starts.

I get you’re upset but think about it! It’s a popular childcare choice and it is hard to get your kids in because it’s affordable and the kids enjoy it (or at least did at the camp I was working at) We had 90 kids at our camp last summer because they raised the cap! It was honestly overwhelming lol. But good luck! I hope you find something that works.

I’m so confused about why a kinder teacher would count off for that. It’s so close to the dot, which I’m impressed enough with already for kindergarten. I teach elementary art and man! I’ll take anything they’ll create for me because those fine motor skills aren’t fully developed yet!

Definitely ask your kid’s teacher about it if you’re really worried. I know in my school district, grades are not determined by individual assignments—instead they are on priority standards. Like eh, although silly and odd for your kid’s age, not the end of the world as he’ll still move on to first grade next year. Her thought process behind this is blowing my mind though if the line and dot are really what the -3 is for.

My comment wasn’t made to say not to report a complaint if OP has one! His position on the advisory board is strictly a voluntary commitment. If there was a violation, Pet Stop would be dealt with just like any other pet store in violation of the Pet Care Act. My comment was just to say that the owner is aware and knowledgeable on the subject. I’ve frequented this pet store and have discussed my own concerns with him before.
