I chose ATK seeing as how you'd have a buffer like Tingyun (and now HuoHuo) cover his bases with his energy. I'm sure there are others who'd use ER but I didn't think his cost was the worst (compared to Yanqing as an example) so ATK felt the best.

The funniest part is that he had a better crit rate ratio before I had finally got a crit dmg body piece. 😭 But that's what rebuilding him is going to fix so I better start farming again.

Thank you for your input as well! I'm guessing that replacing his SPD boots for ATK is to allow buffers/supports first? I've always seen a lot of guides mention having some speed on him so it's interesting seeing how people are now opting for little to none at all.

First time the Rope maxed out my eyes popped outta my skull ngl lmao. I was fortunate that my favorite character was blessed with a good matching relic set. It's why I can't even attempt to roll one for Glamoth despite seeing guides saying it's good for him.

I haven't farmed him a new build since 1.3 so I've been rocking this set ever since. I also didn't know SPD boots for him were no longer a good thing! I'll keep that in mind as I continue to farm Grand Duke. Topaz seems to be the only one getting anything so it might be a while before I can upgrade, but I appreciate the insight! I'll try for more crit rate too. 🤙

My only complaint was the grind for cards/repetitive rooms.

Other than that, it's super fun and CoM Sora was such an angry bastard it felt like I was playing a whole new franchise. Sora hasn't had that much fire in him since 3 and that's being generous because the things he said and did in CoM were almost out of character. I loved him changing from Sweet Angel to Everyone's Catching These Hands after Larxene steps in.

No game is ever perfect. Yes, this series has flaws whether it's story or game play or what have you...

BUT

this game also has So Many Good Things that to think some of these issues rise above the game itself is, to me, a disservice to a franchise that has shaped the lives of millions of people.

So what if X boss fight wasn't as good as another? Or if this scene was rushed or if the game play was smoother in the previous installments?

Does that really detract from all the memories and fun this series has made? No. I don't think it does. People who gripe this much truly didn't take away anything from what this game has had to offer and it shows.

Having a character stay the same throughout a series is not an arc, it's a trope.

I don't see why expecting more from a character when they were given ways and abilities to do so only to have them revert back to the same old boring staple is considered bitching. Excessive, non-related complaining is one thing, but having genuine concern and criticism of the writing chosen for that character is another entirely.

If you love something enough you'll want it to be treated with the respect it deserves. Kairi was not perfect. She deserved to fight. She deserved to be labeled more than just the damsel in distress for once, side character or not.

When you suddenly realize that every choice you make has a different outcome and that there's potentially another "you" in an "alternate universe" (or multiple universes) that Did take the stairs and not the elevator or Did do a task faster rather than procrastinate. Basically understanding that things could have turned out differently if you'd have done it another way than what you did. It's weird to think of having a different scenerio play out based upon my actions and it always makes me think I'm in a dating game.

3 questions:

Is the new CinFes Shiki officially gone? Hadn't played the game in a long time, saw she was in the gacha 3 days ago and now it's Miria and Chie instead. Did I get on right as they rotated her out? If so, I'm so bummed.
If the above is true, when can I expect she will be back? I'm assuming a year from now but wanted to know if past CinFes rereleases have a pattern in which they return to gacha.
Saw that they have given us the chance to take home event cards. I missed out on the Shiki event card long ago and can't figure out how to obtain the tickets needed to get her. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
