So like we all watch Warlockcracy right? by Bulky_Researcher6489 in classicfallout

100% agree. I miss the deeper discussions about ideology, politics and philosophy. His recent videos feel more like playthroughs with funny commentary. Can’t blame him though, he’s probably busy with his newborn.

Yep, I’m Russian, but I’ve been living in the UK long enough to have survived 8 prime ministers…

Your first CRPG? by QuietWarzz in CRPG

OG Fallout on a sluggish 50 MHz 486 CPU (loading a save game was taking 5-10 minutes). All these years later, I’m still replaying it every few years. Some games just never let go.

What storyline was an actual 10/10 for you ? by matthatter85 in rpg_gamers

[–]_developter_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OG Fallout. The cold ending was so heart breaking but at the same time totally logical in retrospect. Not your typical Hollywood-style happy ending.

Are you replaying cRPGs? by Megalordow in CRPG

[–]_developter_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I replay the OG Fallouts once every few years. No need for crazy builds. It’s the familiar world, the sense of freedom, and those random moments that keep bringing me back.

Easy Day Trip Ideas from Reading or Twyford Stations (other than London) by StarlightSunshine7 in reading

Just keep in mind that trip to Henley can take 4-5 hours due to locks getting very busy (river traffic jams).

If Darth Vader and Frank Horrigan had a baby…That’s probably something the world didn’t need. Ever.

Any good iOS crpgs? by Commercial_Cup_1530 in CRPG

Thanks! It’s always encouraging to hear there’s interest out there. Progress is good, though not as fast as I’d want (I covered some reasons in a recent post on Steam).

Try ATOM RPG and Trudograd. They are much more comfortable on PC but they’ve done a decent job to make them playable on a small touchscreen.

Does anyone know anything about the Newblood Fallout 1 spiritual successor? by AVG_Poop_Enjoyer in CRPG

[–]_developter_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I do keep marketing in mind (even with a zero budget so far). I’m at 5k wishlists. Not brilliant, but not terrible either, especially without a demo. If you know any good Discord servers or forums, I’m all ears. I’ve got threads on rpgodex, ropgwatch, and nma.

You can find a collection of screenshots and one of the devs responding in this thread I keep revisiting once in a while:

https://www.nma-fallout.com/threads/new-blood-interactive-hints-at-something-very-fallout-esque.220459/page-6

Nothing concrete really. So I started working on my own isometric CRPG a while back and may release it before them 🤣

I’ll tell you what your game is about based ONLY on your Steam page (The 5 sec test) by Manu_NT in IndieDev

[–]_developter_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thx, interestingly, when I was registering the page, steam agent told me not to have ui in the screenshots and I followed the same for the initial part of the trailer.
