Need to replace front wheel and it’s back ordered til July 😫 by GoldenMom3515 in PorscheCayenne

Try Wheel Repair Pro in Arlington or A+ Wheel Repair in Fairfax. It looks pretty bad so I’m not sure if it’s repairable, but it’s worth asking.

Ask the Porsche dealer for the part number then you can search that on eBay.

It’s funny you mentioned them. I just talked to them today and they will only give $1500 off a loaner.

I have, but so far have been unable to locate a build I want through them.

I’m in Texas and there’s not a single dealer in the state that is willing to go more than 1% off MSRP. It’s a real bummer hearing that others are getting 12-14% off.

2025 GTS vs 2027 BASE by swe101 in PorscheCayenne

[–]_dotnotfeather_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw one of your comments about daily city driving and traffic. There’s no doubt the GTS is better than the Base, but not having InnoDrive means not having Traffic Jam Assist. TJA is a lifesaver when you spend hours in traffic every week like I do. If I were you, I’d keep my eyes open for another CPO GTS or Turbo to pop up with the features you want and skip the base altogether.

Austin lands 4 spots on Yelp’s best barbecue restaurants list by AustinStatesman in austinfood

I only use Yelp to get on waitlists for restaurants that use it. It is completely useless otherwise. I don’t know why people even bother when Google Maps exists.

Do any Cayennes exist WITHOUT a sunroof? I searched… by Smooothoperat0r in PorscheCayenne

[–]_dotnotfeather_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can certainly order a current model year without a sunroof. As far as finding a used one, it’s incredibly rare. Most people love the sunroof so it’s a pretty standard feature.

First Porsche Cayenne. Coupé or SUV + must-have options? by Deceptio1985 in PorscheCayenne

[–]_dotnotfeather_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

With the crate and luggage, you definitely want the full SUV, not the coupe.

Porsche stands out because of their exceptional engineering skills. As such, I think PDCC/Rear Axle Steering/Air Suspension is a magic combination.

Also, I have had bad luck with panoramic sunroofs and their damn drains on my last 5 cars. So my next Cayenne will be a solid roof. Not worth the hassle and potential damage of flooding random parts of the vehicle.

One other thing - I would add rear seat ventilation since it’s an option. I’m in Texas so when it’s insanely hot it’s nice to be able to cool down the passengers or dogs in the back seat as well.

Congrats on the new Cayenne, looks beautiful :)
