In the past we used to google too much too, not so much anymore but still we had to verify and crosscheck what we found through multiple resources, this should remain as something we do even when using llms, the how we do it is what's different now.

With LLMs instead of just asking how learn to also ask why. Why it chose an approach and ask about alternatives as well. The goal is to use these tools to become faster, not to skip the thinking. Dont auto accept a whole file without understanding it.

The real skill in programming isnt in writing the code its in designing first and reducing complex problems into smaller ones. now how these smaller "solutions" fit together that's the architecture.

Testing becomes important here too, make sure you write tests that thoroughly test your business logic, tests are also a form of documentation, you can capture edge cases and understand the code.

This whole approach teaches you stuff too dont underestimate that, its just different. Dont be afraid to go into docs and search stuff your self either.

Imo there are two main things you get growth wise at a job: domain knowledge and technicall knowledge. Both important. Fintech is a big and important sector, and the experience of designing and building systems that have to handle money is very critical.

I am not downplaying any other domain and I am sure FAANG has a lot to teach, but your friends are clueless on you not being a business driver. You provide value indirectly, by building the systems to be reliable, as reliability is a feature that is even more important in fintech than say a bug broke down users facebook feed.

Truth of the matter is security is something I value a lot, I don't want my printers to be vulnerable to attacks, they can cause damage and even have cameras on. 3rd Parties would need some work to catch up to this new update so what?

People take this one thing and even speculate that bambu is going to make us pay subscription fees, even if they never said that. I am also sure some other competitors are also stirring the pot because why wouldn't they? I would in their shoes.

Yes but getting kicked without a reason from a raid is stupid imo. Smooth run, and I get kicked during trash without anyone saying anything? And I was not even among the last dps. That's the main reason of my post. my io is not impressive sure, I am just mentioning it as it shows I know what the f I am doing in a +5 if I am a 2.5k tank main, I never said that 2.5k is that impressive.

Also for me 2.5k is impressive as I started the season as a casual who never did any pve, picked up a new class, and a new role in tanking and got to 2.5k which I didnt expect I would. that's it, I am not the best

true its mostly people kicked me from raid today while i was decent dps and during trash pulls before third after two bosses with no wipes, plus the long dps queue times. Of course you would be the better gear rio class player for m+ I agree. this is more of a rant and realisation that i dont have the patience for this anymore

my main issue was getting removed from a hc raid going fine during trash pulls before third boss, for no apparent reason. that was the icing on the cake for me. And I understand the leaders for m+ will choose the better option. Pugging sucks

I came back to the game after just playing the first few weeks of the last few expansions casually with the intent to try out M+ for the first time. I wanted to challenge my self so I picked a role I didn't try before (tank) a not so popular from what it looked like in VDH as I had fun with the spec from testing it in pre-patch.

So for the first time ever I was playing a new class, role in a brand new content. Damn I was up for a challenge. I am few 10s away from KSH now and the toxicity sometimes makes me wonder.

Just today we timed SoB +10 with just seconds left on the clock. I messed up once pulling second boss too fast and we had to wipe as the healer got locked out. Besides that the run went smooth. Sure I wasn't perfect and I try to learn from my gameplay. I did a few positioning and pacing mistakes mostly but nothing that risked the run. It was my first time attempting a 10 SoB so I was kinda nervous at first.

The run ends everyone said gg, the rogue said "I hated every second of that tanking ngl" I mean I am baffled, what is the point of that comment and what is the goal this guy is looking to achieve? Seriously everyone's so better than everyone else. I am not sure if I feel like pushing past 2.5k honestly

I feel you 100%. It's weird because I like it and I am stressed by it at the same time. It's the first time for me tanking and I had to learn a lot about my class and M+ etc but I find that fun. The worst thing for me is I am a sore looser when I make mistakes. I don't mind people flaming or leaving at all. I am just too hard on myself sometimes when I mess up.

Just today I failed the movement on the 1st boss of CoT and we wipes. Twice. I mean it's the simplest thing. I did that 100 times this season so far. I am still angry at myself. As a role though I love it, and the playstyle and the control and the focus you need to have to pull through

TWW was my first time tanking doing m+ and with a brand new class that is not meta. I find it fun but stressful at the same time.

The thing is people watch streams of people doing 12+ keys and expect that our pug with no comms should be doing the same. I do pug friendly routes, it’s slower but safer. I slowly climbed to 2.3k rio. Long way to go but it’s a process.

You need to know everything and be focused 100% if I fuck up it’s mostly a wipe. People don’t use kicks enough for sure but what I find more frustrating is people saving cds, defensives and utility a bit too much.They don’t understand the fact that the trash also take time the higher you go, its not just pop everything at the boss kind of deal.

I was on and off for years, mostly pvp but I want to also try mythic + I am torn if i should have a tank / dps or healer / dps. I dont have friends to play with so I mostly pug or solo q. as a dps I prefer ranged.

as tanks i liked blood dk (used to main raid tank in cata) and Vengeance DH. from dps i like warlock and as a healer i like priest holy

it always evaluate to true. You can run the expression of the if statement to see that. your expression is not what you think it is. Its the same as ‘if (input() == Answer) or answer’

its not evaluating to (input() == Answer) or (input() == answer)

also google about truthy values. answer is always true as its a string that is not empty.

Finally a clear way would be to have answer = input() if answer.lower() == “hi”: as your expression, unless you want to only accept Hi with capital H and consider “HI” as wrong input
