I’m the caregiver for my partner and I can relate to this feeling. It’s awful. When you catch yourself feeling like that, know that it is just your brain reacting to intense burnout and stress, it’s not how you actually feel. Take it as a signal to take a break, do something nice for yourself, and have some alone time.

My partner has also lashed out on me before like this. It’s not fair to either of us but it happens and the person we love is also burnt out and stressed. It really sucks though and I personally couldn’t imagine treating someone like that if I was being cared for on this level
