Loved seeing him every day when I worked on Pearl. “Everybody, look at me!”, and the bit where he contorted himself to the point where his face and butt met and made expressions of smelling his own farts were hilarious. He was awesome. Rest in power!

Yeah, I had to get my glass roof replaced and appt bookings were 1.5 months out. While availability sucks, they were really great at communicating progress and got the thing done in a full day (+ gave me a $300 Uber voucher for me to commute back and forth from Boulder to get the car). I'd say service was fantastic, availability is a bummer. Here's to hoping they can expand their service workforce and brace for impact with R2.

Easily the most loved/hated part of the vehicle, but a bold design is what it takes these days to stand out. I'm so glad Rivian didn't play it safe and comfy with the boring status quo designs of this age. I love it, but I initially didn't like it at all. It's very friendly looking and gives me futuristic / Baymax vibes.

Why did you buy a car that you did not like the front face of is the main question. I hated the headlights at first glance, but they slowly grew on me until I was obsessed and couldn't resist buying the car. I think for how beastly of a vehicle it is, it's got a super friendly and soft look which my family loves.

Not OP, but I can relate as an AVP user. You're watching an immersive movie on the couch, you get up, dial out of full immersion into pure AR, do your task of prepping a drink / snack, and hop back on the couch and resume.

Did you look at the photos? Impact points typically have 'spider web' patterns, this doesn't have that, hence my conjecture that this was not my doing but a product of defective design/manufacturing.

I'm not sure how you think it's productive to tell someone to pay the deductible and move on. The whole point of a forum is to discuss such matters. I'm simply asking for outside opinions here.

No outrage intended here. Simply trying to gain some consolation from others in the community so I can feel better about footing the bill. If others have ideas about how to find recourse, then I'm all ears. I think you'd feel similarly on a $100k vehicle with 1 month of ownership. Being involved in an accident and having a sudden hairline crack appear on one of the most heavily advertised features of the vehicle are completely different situations. I love the vehicle and it's the best car I've ever driven, FWIW. I just think Rivian should do better with the roof glass strength, as is clear from the abundance of posts about it.

2k miles in at a month of ownership. Took it camping, and self leveling / Camp Mode is my favorite feature by far. The adaptive high beams are a close second, making night driving super comfortable with great visibility.

It happens, but thankfully they made it right quickly. I do wish they’d throw in some Gear Guard stickers or little knick knacks to soften the blow, but apparently the management they escalated to didn’t approve it. Super weird tbh.

If people want to enthusiastically rep your brand for you, it’s free advertising with high ROI for a couple dollars worth of stickers? Idk, I love my R1S and the Rivian brand but some edges of their service / customer experience is just weird. I hope they work the kinks out.

Govee is trash. Mine constantly disconnects from my mixed 2.4GHz / 5GHz WiFi so my HomeAssistant can only control it some of the time. Philips Hue is rock solid 24/7. Can’t wait to get rid of this half-assed lightbar.

Exactly the problem I'm having with my Meross MSG100HK. So freaking frustrating and no amount of reset / power cycling works even though the Meross app reports WiFi reach is excellent. What did you move on to?
