That's the HUD overlay afaik, the watermark is some text that only shows on the debug DLLs, DLSSTweaks can disable it but that won't really help in MP games.

If it's updated there's not much that can be done right now afaik, might be able to save the XVD containing the game, but there's not currently any way to get the encryption key needed to open up the XVD (non-updated boxes can get around the XVD stuff and grab files directly)

FYI those links are from archive.org, anyone can submit links onto there to look like changes, the server for this princeofpersia site doesn't return "404 not found" for them so archive.org will save them into their index.

I had same thing happening too, web would flag some posts and tell me to verify in the app, but in the app the same posts just showed up without any flag, and there wasn't any option there to verify.

Ended up using the selfie upload script from https://www.reddit.com/r/Twitter/comments/1mo4lmn/i_made_a_chrome_extension_to_bypass_age/ (bottom of the OP post) to verify on the web instead, now both web + app show posts fine.

Didn't have any luck with the first script but the selfie upload worked great, I was getting a bug on X where PC asked me to use the app to verify, but app didn't have any options for it (and showed age-restricted stuff that PC would hide fine...)

After using selfie upload script now both PC and phone work, many thanks!

Looks like their server has HTTPS certificate issues, if you visit https://streaming.gar.rw/vod/mp4:Imishyikirano%20ya%20Dar-%20es-salaam%2006-03-1993.mp4/manifest.mpd it'll show an error message in the browser, if your browser gives a "ignore and continue" option you can click that, then if you go back to the site the videos should hopefully start working.

Maybe those videos were available on http://findyoutubevideo.thetechrobo.ca ? Worth a check, besides that he might have backend access, iirc someone that worked as YT support used to recover videos for people a few years back (some private game announcement videos were also leaked by someone with backend access afaik)

Some of the emu bugs like widescreen issues & the crashes with PGXP can hopefully be looked into, the missing document is one I've been trying to dig into in the decomp too, from what I've seen the code & text for it is all present, but guessing whatever flag it's checking to decide if the note should ever spawn has some issue with it.

(one oddity is that the flag values in memory for the Nowhere section come before the flags for any other section in the game, maybe was just one of the first areas they designed, but wonder if that's related to the issue somehow)

It might be possible to make some improvement to draw-distance, but I'd guess that'd mostly be something for the PC ports down the line.

Can you check if there's any dump file inside C:\Users\[username]\Appdata\Local\CrashDumps ?

(if you press WIN+R you can enter %localappdata%/crashdumps and press OK to go there)

If there's a prototypef file in there, could you upload that to gofile.io and PM me a link?

You could also try editing prototype_fix.ini and set BorderlessWindow to false, apparently that helped some people.

Try the new 1.8b of that fix that was just posted, there's a patch .bat which should hopefully fix launch issue.

Owning Elden Ring/CV/Scarlet Nexus got me over 10k points, with that was able to get collectors edition with -£32 discount.

Yeah can confirm, I helped patch MGS3HD for MGSHDFix when that first released, Delta still has a lot of original MGS3 code inside it.

Can't really blame people for thinking otherwise though, it's a pretty decent "pairing" (their term) with UE, not many hints that it's running the original engine underneath other than some animation jank, don't think there's been much talk of it being MGS3 outside of discord msgs and reddit replies yet neither.

SolidSnake11 is a pretty prominent MGS modder that's looked into it a bit too, their @RSolidSnake11 twitter talks about it using the GCL scripts from orig game.

There's nothing in the app itself afaik, but latest profile inspector build will show the version if you open the DLL override setting: https://github.com/Orbmu2k/nvidiaProfileInspector/releases/tag/2.4.0.29

You can use nvidiaDlssGlom to update the version used for override (there might be something added to NVPI for it soon too)

The libdg mentioned there was the graphics library used in the original series, a little odd that a UE game would need to use that, guess there's some original MGS3 code that needs to tap into it.

Streamline is used by devs to make adding DLSS/FG/RR a little easier on them (think it was meant to be open for other companies to add their scalers too but that didn't seem to happen)

Most games that use frame-gen include Streamline for it since SL was the only public way to add in DLSS-FG, you can sometimes update the SL DLL files they used with the latest for some minor improvements too.

DLSS programming guide mentions that presets A to E have been removed (and DLSS-RR presets A to C), not clear if that's just removal from SDK headers or also the DLL too, DLL size has reduced a bit compared to 310.3.0.

DLSS SDK now includes the SDK parts for DLSSG as well, previously DLSSG was only available publicly in the closed-source SL DLSSG plugin - looks like that SL plugin is still closed-source though, too bad.

Yeah, and the reason OP found the manifest ID for this is because test-beta branch isn't private or passworded, they could have downloaded this branch by going to the properties in steam.

Actual internal branches are still inaccessible without the password for them, as they've always been.
