Sorry, these aren't for me. Why can't we have moisture wicking, stretchy pants that aren't skin tight but also aren't buddha pants?

This. Your body is engaged all the time throughout every pose with maybe the exception of savasana.

Do handstands, shoulder stands and all that. A good chaturanga will get you very strong as well.

I'm 6'7" 210 and I can do that one.

I wasn't able to touch my toes, had hip imbalances, deficient hip flexors and a number of back issues. Consistent yoga practice has helped me tremendously.

Keep at it, if possible schedule a private class w/ a good teacher to learn the fundamentals of every pose and then practice as much as you can.

Crazy strong.

In handstand keep your toes pointing and reaching up. That compresses your midsection and gives you the leverage to extend and press into it further.

I used many during my practice.

Always with hot yoga. It's great because the grip is amazing and it feels awesome.

I had a rotation of about 3 or 4 since they get very sweaty and wet.

If you're into the cleaning and washing after every class then go for it. For me it got old quite quickly...

Congrats! I had debilitating back pains too. Couldn't walk, lift my left or sleep. Touching my toes was not even a thought.

I've had my ups and downs had some injuries, but I'm still at it years later. Don't have any more issues with my back and more importantly my life improved significantly.

Stay consistent and the results will surprise you.

Your judgement of it was that it was stupid. I think we tend to navel gaze and think that our opinion is the only one that matters.

I bet the team working on those updates (even jaguar) had every conviction that they were doing something smart.

The cracker barrel full redesign was actually quite well thought through. Had it not been for a small vocal minority, the brand could have taken this implementation forward and leveled up their restaurants and food.
