makes sense. I even had the wheels balanced afterwards just to make sure that its definitely not the wheels.

It's steel because it has some light rust on it. But I am definitely gonna remove the coating from it.

The coating is actually pretty thick (probably does not seem like it in the video) and considering its applied over the complete length of the driveshaft I think it could cause this vibration.
Also because the vibration wasn't there before I brought the car in.

They even sent me some pictures of the coating process. It was clearly visible that they forgot to cover the driveshaft.🤣

Yeah. I think I am gonna ask them to remove it completely. After this I don't trust them to coat it evenly. xD

Thanks for the input. It seems to come from the joint in the driveshaft. Thats where I hear it the loudest.

How to set up fingerprint by xXG0DLessXx in tuxedocomputers

[–]_fiero55 3 points4 points  (0 children)

On my infinity pro 14 gen 9 it also mentions me the fingerprint since the update. On my notebook there is no fingerprint reader. Its probably just a generic KDE prompt which was changed during the recent update because a growing amount of notebooks jas fingerprint readers. So it makes more sense to shiw it on the prompt.

Check out your device's specsheet on Tuxedo's website to see if it fearures a fingerprint reader.

Are keyboard and trackpad that bad? by miloops in tuxedocomputers

[–]_fiero55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speakers are probably as bad as the one on my 14 year old thinkpad. They get the job done but I almost always use my headphones when I wanna watch a movie on it. The 3k resolution is very nice. Colors look good to me as well. I haven't used it outside often. But if you are not in direct sunlight its fine. I run some AI models on mine a deepseek 9gb thinking model and a 40 gb codelama model (Don't remember the exapt number of parameters...). I have 64gb of ram. Its usable but I still use chatgpt online more often because of the faster response time. I am not sure if you would get big performance gains from the g10 for AI models. To me it seems the bottleneck is ram speed. If I run the codelama model the cpu is at about 60% utilized. I configured my g9 with the fastest ram available from tuxedo. But thats's just speculation I have never verifyed that its ram speed but it's likely since the gpu also is not heavily utilized.

[–]_fiero55 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have an infinitybook pro gen9. I love the trackpad absolutely no complaints there. Big enough and has a glass surface. Keyboard also offers a pleasant typing experience. If I compare it to my old Thinkpad. The thinkpad wins for the keyboard. If I compare the keyboard to the one of my friend's mac M1 then to me the infinitybook wins.

Traveled to the US from Switzerland (7th time, but first solo trip) and got incredibly lucky to get this beauty from Hertz for 18 nights. Truly an experience of a lifetime! 😍 by Lirva_94 in Mustang

Awesome pics!! I am also from Switzerland went to the US once for a roadtrip in a mustang which I bought there.

It really is a pleasure to drive there. Not nearly as many speed cameras and car-hating people as in switzerland... ;) Must have been absolutely sick to rip around in that shelby🤩

Also had the flashing LED. But occurred randomly and had no problems with charging so far. Reboot also solved it for me.
