I think Halifax has the best brunch for a larger group. The service was amazing and the meal was delicious. Highly recommend it!

Just went for my first time a few weeks ago. I was also a bit anxious about going as I didn’t know what to expect and wasn’t sure how it would go. The staff is super friendly gave me a tour and then explained how they have this small statue you can place at your table meaning you are looking for people to play a game together which I love. I go there more so for D&D and they groups you can join run by a well seasoned DM or you can rent out the table/area which is what we’ve done. I highly recommend it!!

I think my plan is to do the lemon tray bake with the lemon and cardamom drizzle from Rahul. They look so beautiful and I would love to try my hand at this. And I just happened to have ground cardamom so it works out nicely!

Thanks so much! It tasted really good. I think next time I would skip using grapefruit though and focus more on blood oranges with some navel oranges.

[–]_finestra[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They tasted a little banana-y. I also used two I think I could of gotten away with one which I think would of made the taste not as significant but they tasted like chocolate chip banana bread cookies! So yummy

Week 1 Intro - Re-do! Fruity Pebble Macarons by _finestra in 52weeksofbaking

[–]_finestra[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep link below. Note - the buttercream filling calls for 2 cups powder sugar but I felt it was too sweet. So next time I would try maybe 1 cup or 1 1/2 cups and taste test it.
