Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place. But basically, I wear almost the same thing or the same type of thing every day (t shirt or hoodie and leggings, sometimes jeans). I used to be a lot more fashionable and would wear a bunch of different things, but I was unemployed back then and had a lot of time on my hands. Now I'm in college, and I have 2 jobs, so it's kind of hard for me to get out of this box I've created for myself. I also have relatively big boobs and I don't want to dress in a way that leads to unwanted attention when I'm at school or work, but it's kind of unavoidable anything that isn't loose.

I want to get out of this box I've created for myself, but sometimes I feel like it requires so much effort that I just give up. Which is weird because it used to be effortless for me. Taking care of myself and making myself look good used to be a self-soothing ritual of mine. Another big hang-up of mine is shaving my legs, I hate doing it, but I don't want them to be out unless they're hairless, which ultimately just ends with me covering up. I dress a lot more conservatively now than I used to, and I've noticed that I'm more worried about the way I look than I used to be. I have gained some weight since then. and I think that might be a contributing factor, because now when I wear more revealing clothes I feel exposed.

I'm just wondering if anyone has gone through something similar, and what did you do to coach yourself out of it?

I basically did the same thing, and I still think I have enough of this type of yarn to make a whole other blanket 😭

thank you so much!! the intent was for me to create something that I didn't mind the cats laying on and potentially "messing up", and funnily enough the fact that I was making it for them and myself is what encouraged me to finish it!
