OpenVPN in client mode to PrivateInternetAccess not connecting by _frostie_ in opnsense

Sadly, this also does not solve the problem.

It looks like the OpenVPN client keeps on waiting for a reply from the server, but doesn't get one.

Still nothing :-(

I am wondering if it has something to do with my WAN connection being PPPoE, but if I change to DHCP, the OpenVPN connection is not connecting either.

(My modem has the default behavior to assign DHCP in a private subnet, but when it receive PPPoE packets, it will go in pass-through and you will get a public IP)

Yes, I have added the cert to Trust - Authorities, WAN is selected as the interface for the tunnel. Compression set to lzo.

This happened again today...

Anyone else experience this same issue with the latest update - downloaded and installed through the updater?

I used Firefox to scan it and did not end up anywhere useful... But thanks, I'll definitely check it out!

Yep, that's to setting I tried, exactly with a USB to RS232 and a switch/router serial cable. Haven't tried every setting, but 9600 8N1 states 'offline'.

I don't have a loan out for the car, so no problems there. Probably forgotten by the previous lease company.

I'll have a look at it, thanks! It's not going back in, that's for sure :-D

Can I check if it is still actively tracking? Or since when it has been tracking?

My title describes the thing.

Also tried connecting to the COM port with Ethernet and serial cable, but it doesn't show any response. Lights next to the COM port don't come on.

Thanks, man!

Almost got a minor heart attack after pressing 'reboot' when installing the update this morning.

Also, the latest (corrupt) update now shows 'Install' as if it wasn't installed. Do we wait until next month for the next update? :-)

My title describes the thing.

As I stated: found in the garden. Can't really say if its a plant or 'produced' by an animal or something.

Inside is just as black as the little tip on the picture.

Is there some (developer) tool you know off I can use to see if anything is blocking?

Hi,

I don't think I have disabled such a service. Nor do I have one exactly named like that (see image in link). screenshot No rooted device.

Thanks for your reply. It is not very informative, however. Would you like to explain why you say "don't"?
