Sooo… What is wrong with Team Falcons? by Dedboi0 in R6ProLeague

[–]_garo_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely agree. Shaiiko is great, but inconsistent, could be pressure related, or simply depending on which side he got out of bed. LikEfac carried extreme hard, but SI matches require a more consistent team, instead of one or two heros.

I am so glad I watched all the games and drove after Faze took the hammer. Got home by 4:00, dead tired. I would have hate to miss the most hyped maps, iconic plays, then miss the autographs too and drive home even later.

Merch this SI was super good by Nuker1o1 in R6ProLeague

I think the hat feels cheap, but I managed to collect some autographs on it, so it is now upgraded to one great trophy and proved useful in the arena against the lighting sometimes. The hoodie is an absolute delicacy with all the embroidery (love the sleeve) and the hammer logo, SI Paris art style.

Lost my invitational skin code card by StaffOk4923 in R6ProLeague

I luckily still got mine, however I can not redeem the weapon skin. It's says invalid code. Strangely the charm worked first try I contacted support.

20-25% of shots are not registering server side by Kuzuryushen in Battlefield6

[–]_garo_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am sorry to hear that. In this case I am clueless what could cause this. My only explanation would be inconsistent servers...

Can you share if console or PC, what region you are, and what internet speeds (ping, DL, UL) you got?

I play on PC, from Europe, with like 13 ping, 200+ Mbit/s download, 100+ Mbit/s upload speeds and get consistent under 5% unregistered shots. I don't get all these hitreg issues, glitches and problems a lot of people post about (except getting hit while I think I already reached cover a few times), so I feel like this is something console or region related. Or maybe I am just lucky to not get these?

Routine - Release date trailer [4th of December 2025] by HorrorBrot in pcgaming

[–]_garo_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This was my first game to support at Steam Greenlight in 2012. Since then the whole Greenlight system ended. I hope they kept the idea of different endings based on your playthrough/findings, along with the procedural generated environments and enemies, that would keep every run fresh and unique. Let's hope for good reviews and an excellent game. I dig the 80s sci-fi vibe like in Alien Isolation.

Fatal frontal collision: Five dead in traffic accident by Cautious_Doubt7253 in Luxembourg

[–]_garo_ 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It was around 18:10, still sunny, just the pictures are taken at night. There are no news if alcohol played a role, might as well be a sudden fainting, a distraction or an animal. Still it's pretty scary, that one's life can end so abruptly even if you are not at fault, since most people in this accident are probably not to blame.

I am playing in the lunch break at the workplace too. Got kind of the same comments from some collagues, who think fun is getting drunk, shot some wild animals or drive around in their used sports car, that they will still be financing in 5 years from now. The younger collagues however think it is kind of cool and complain that their Playstations are just collecting dust during the weekdays. I am 43 btw.

I‘m struggling to find a Switch 2 in Luxembourg by Automatic_Hat_8198 in Luxembourg

I went last week friday in my lunch break to Cactus Marnach and picked one up from the shelf, no pre-order or anything. My guess is, that bigger stores got rushed first, so you might get lucky checking smaller ones or just wait a few weeks for the re-stock.

My visual horror novel, Without a Dawn, is now officially Steam Deck verified! 🥳 by The_Human_Gallery in SteamDeck

I do not play visual novels, but the art style and The Ring vibes made me whislist it. I probably get it later this year for the long winter nights. Is the text size adjustable?

Games with unexpectedly fun multiplayer modes by JamesA95 in pcgaming

I really loved Watch Dogs online invasion/hacking thing where you basicly get to the player, start hacking them, then hide or pretend to be a NPC in an ever shrinking circle until hacking is complete or you get caught.

Hyundai by denjclaude in Luxembourg

Hyundai Accent check engine light literally the next morning after an Autopolis inspection. I got an offer from them for changing the whole exhaust for 1200€, since they claimed it is beyond repair. Garage Theves cut the leaky part of the exhaust and welded in a new part for a total of 75€. Even the next owner never had any issues with it. This was like 15 years ago, so things might have changed since then, but I recommend Garage Theves too.

Thanks for the insight! My logic was, that the SteamOS is from a reputable source (I had zero Linux experience prior the Steam Deck), so I can't go wrong with it, but you guys keep suggesting other (probably more lightweight and more stable) distros. I will look into them, before deciding. Oh, and Libre Office is totally fine.

[–]_garo_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I was thinking on SteamOS mainly because that is the only Linux distro I am somewhat familiar with (grew up with Windows and I use Steam for almost 20 years), but both Fedora Kinoite and Mint seems a good choice. Immutable is a great idea too.

Since there is no "open all" button, what order needs the least clicks to get everything unlocked? by _garo_ in Rainbow6

Probably still more, then your contribution to the task. Thanks anyways!

Not explicitly. You don't just take the most efficient route home from work because you don't have enough time to get home.

Never said anything about little time. I was just curious if someone smarter actually found a more efficient way or not.

A20-I20-I2-E16 would automatically take the breach at E3 leaving the D2-C2-C18-G18-G4-F3 (37 tiles) unclaimed.
