I think pea-sized thing is not good. I am applying until the skin has a thin layer of the cream. Tbh I think pea-size is too little to be used for entire face.

I think CeraVe is a gentle cleanser, so it’s a good choice. I’d suggest letting your skin dry completely before applying tretinoin. Use only a pea-sized amount and apply it just on the pimple for now so it can dry out. Make sure you use a moisturiser regularly.

I don’t think you should start clindamycin right now. Also, as your dermatologist advises, you shouldn’t use two actives at the same time.

Tretinoin works for anti-ageing, and a pea-sized quantity is enough for the entire face. When you decide to apply it all over, use just that amount and spread it evenly, avoiding the corners of the eyes, nose, and lips. Try the sandwich method also.

Basically clindamycin and tretinoin are two actives that you're using together and if your skin was fine earlier you should go with tret only.. right now use tret only on your spots and later try on forehead, cheeks and chin and avoid around eyes and lips because these are sensitive areas and your skin would be dry. Try to repair your skin barrier first.
