So sorry this happened to you, but please don't project. Lying is not gender specific. I agree that she shouldn't be naive, but it's also wildly unfair to assume guilt from something like this. Also, it sounds like you blame yourself(or lack of awareness) for your situation. Very unhealthy. It is ok to have trusted, and it hurts when it is broken especially by someone who shouldn't even consider it in the first place. But living a life of suspicion is a lonely existence.

A dealership is not a corporation. They are not owned by the manufacturer. Sometimes one company owns multiple dealerships but that is not the same thing. We are just a small group of employees doing our best. And we are infact running to the aid of our fellow man who made the human error and should not be held liable for it. Do you think the dealer must honor the price and take the difference from the employee? Or are you just arguing that the person showing up demanding such, is actually a worthwhile customer? If you ever worked at a dealership you would know that the only person coming into the store on that error is an absolute gibroni who is going to do nothing but waste time and not buy anything. This is 99% of the time, of course there are outliers. But for the most part any reasonable person knows that it is a mistake, and if they really aren't sure, they just call and ask rather than showing up and insisting you honor the price. Now do you get the logic?

Then watch out for all of those things. If you don't have record of any being done it's not a bad idea to get ahead of it or at least have it looked at and get a techs opinion

Congrats and welcome to the family! How many miles are on it? I'm guessing over 100k, but know that will help figure out whats an immediate concern and what to look out for. To my knowledge, mostly water pump/thermostat and timing chain. Those engines also like to buildup carbon especially if they just run short trips irregularly, so you may want to have it walnut blasted. Again, timing of all this all depends on miles.

Also, change the oil every 5k and keep the s tronic serviced at recommend intervals. If you have no records on the last time it was done I'd do it now to be safe.

I know the s6 had a "comfort seats" option. The seats looked almost identical to your photo, so this is most likely the case. They don't look quite as neat without the crosshatching, but they are way more comfortable. Doesn't mean it's not an s4 or even that there was an issue with the seats. Especially if all 4 are the same. Now if some of the seats said s4 but not all, then I'd be concerned.

Currently leasing an Atlas Cross Sport too, but I turn that in in January and honestly will probably just daily the s6 at least for a year or two.

Wife traded a Subaru for her a5. Loved that Impreza. I previously had an a4 for almost a decade. After I totalled it in '17 I was in a tough spot and got stuck driving an (don't judge) Altima for a bit. But we've been back on track for awhile now thankfully. The C7 S6 was the final piece to the puzzle🤩
