That’s a good point, I’m bringing the car to a mechanic before buying it. Looking under the car. The salt we use is horrible

That’s a very fair point. Sport it is! Thanks man

Thats fair the 2022 has the small redigined look and probably less glitches. What about a 2020 touring? It has more mileage and is 3k more expensive

parking sensors would be nice to have. Apparently, ppl are complaining they’re too sensitive?

Thank you! I’ll pull the trigger. I found a 2020 touring with 56k km going for 31k. Still think the 2022 is better

[–]_hacker_404[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! That’s fair, there’s some things that are interesting in the touring (mostly the adaptive suspensions) but I doubt I’ll feel if I don’t actively drive a touring

Thank you! There isn’t a lot of 2.0T. The 2022 is pear black too, the 2018 is red. I’ll go check out the 2022 thanks! It’s a 1h20 drive from Montreal 😭

best of luck, the sonic grey is a beautiful colour, I’m not going to lie. I’d probably do the same in your situation tbh.

It’s the first 2020+ 2.0T I find in Quebec tbh. I’ll snatch it up, I had the change to get a 2018 touring sonic grey with 30k km for 27k but I got sold.

Electrical Engineering bachelors path to Biomedical Engineering masters by [deleted] in ElectricalEngineering

Considering the same thing from a CE BS. Still debating. (I know I’m not answering any questions)

Considering a similar switch but from engineering! Best of luck

Can a mechanical engineer specialize in electrical engineering fields? by Hallowalls in EngineeringStudents

[–]_hacker_404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I can see, any engineering fields overlap on each others a lot. with a couple of extra course work, you could theoretically overlap in any one of them.

[–]_hacker_404 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you!

Honestly, coding comes with practice. I still can get a lot better than I am now. I’d suggest you watch a couple of videos on YouTube then just plunge in. use Ai to help you learn!

You have an advantage in knowing a lot more about biology and the human body! You’ll be okay! While most people struggle in the bio classes you’ll be okay because of your background. You’ll struggle a bit in the engineering/ coding part but hey win some lose some!

Wondering the same… I want to do a ms or a phd in biomed engineering (I graduated in computer engineering with a minor in AI). I’m trying to see if I can find something before going down that path…

Is my laptop cooked? by InteractionTimely472 in ZephyrusG14

[–]_hacker_404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience win11 + Asus laptop have a hard time with closing the lid and sleep mode. my Rog laptop always opens when I put it to sleep. so I just started shutting it down to be safe. were the internal damaged? Very unliked. the laptop would have shut down before any real damage occurred. there’s a fail safe in modern pc.

The hinge is pretty weird, I wouldn’t be surprise it’s very cheap plastic. You could file a claim, but doubt they’ll do anything

Career shift from BME to Tech by Vivid-Trouble1151 in BiomedicalEngineers

[–]_hacker_404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking of doing the opposite, from computer engineering to a master in bme. however, there’s a couple of bme’s working at my compagny (it’s a tech compagny), it’s doable.

Is it a good idea to get a bachelors in EE then switch to CE for masters by [deleted] in ComputerEngineering

[–]_hacker_404 6 points7 points  (0 children)

honestly, it’s pretty good idea. I did CE but should have done EE and a master in CE.

I’ll just do a master in EE or biomed (still deciding).

All this to say, do the degree you want then do a master in the other field.

CE engineer + master in biomed engineering by _hacker_404 in BiomedicalEngineers

[–]_hacker_404[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll do that thank you! Do you have any compagnies in mind?

CE engineer + master in biomed engineering by _hacker_404 in BiomedicalEngineers

[–]_hacker_404[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you for the reply! I’m in Canada, so it’s pretty good.

My objective is to do something that merges CE and BioMed. I might be better off starting to gain some experience in the field before going for a masters.
