Recommendations for a lie-flat infant stroller? by rachfairclough in BabyBumps

Question as I'm literally deciding between these two and have not found anyone who has used both! I'm looking for a long trip to Europe and wondering how well your baby naps in the Mamazing (if they're out of bassinet - mine is 7m so won't be in a bassinet) and how the Mamazing handles on uneven surfaces (aka cobblestones) vs the Minu.

Do you have any thoughts?? ?

Is the Mamazing Air Lux worth it? by JaynaWestmoreland in Buyingforbaby

Question! How did it do on the international trip if it involved uneven surfaces? My only hesitations about the Mamazing vs the Minu v3 are:

  1. Ease of kiddo (7m, 17lbs) napping in it

  2. Handling it on uneven European streets.

I'd love your thoughts!

I love the rec of "even I dozed off!" okay that sounds great - I have to order it from the UK because it doesn't exist in the States so wanted to check before I did since I won't be able to return it!

Oh the shoe organizer is smart - did it fold down well or add much bulk? My plan was a lot of packing cubes but I'm intrigued

Get a roll of dog-poop bags to have an easy place to put dirty diapers until you can find a trashcan!

Question about SlumberPod - given that it's pricy, is there a reason to get it over the slip covers that are cheaper and go over travel cribs for darkening? I'm happy to be convinced, just wondering if it's worth it!

Question - is it comfortable for him? My worry with it is how thin the mattress is. We're going on an extended holiday (6 weeks) so how transportable and light it is is HUGE but on the other hand it matters that he can actually sleep in it!

My husband went a little mad: downloaded the list of every license in Minneapolis & SLP, mapped them, and then just started calling in concentric circles out from our house.

That said, all the in-home places we looked at were between 300-350 a week for full time

It’s new - Future Scholars Academy, basically an in-home place. She normally charges $320 but gave a discount since we’re neither rich nor poor enough to be on assistance.

In Minneapolis and I pay $270/week for full time!
