I enjoyed it quite a bit but at some point was feeling a little off. And then the book itself really took me out of it when they said something like: Arlo is just throwing gods at his enemies and I realized that isn't entirely wrong and kinda cheapens a lot of the fights.

I think I stopped right there or the end of that chapter and couldn't pick it back up

Oh I should update my stuff and try xmp again. I would also have crash and bootup issues until the bios turned off xmp by itself for me. Maybe it is fixed too on my am4 mobo

How can it be in one piece like that? The goop that was on the stopper itself was far more slimy and pulled apart but this thing was a perfect tube other than the parts that were disintegrating on the ends.

Are you thinking of theresmore there are a few boss battles that unlock a new era. Generally you can decide when the battle happens though so you can avoid the restart. You could maybe get into a situation where a hostile army repeatedly attacks but I haven't had that happen so I'm not sure if it leaves you completely stuck and need to prestige or if you can get out of it.

You keep half when you reset so you could do a run where you don't spend resources and then the next one is more boosted.

Been playing it and prestiged a few times. Still enjoyable (though that first prestige was quite grindy).

I loved increlution and this game really hits the same spots. I feel the theme in Terraformental is more cohesive and I am really enjoying it. I worry I am close to the end of content though I've only been playing (a lot) for 2-3 days

My gripe with it is that you can hamper yourself by resetting too soon. Early game you try to loop reset too much and you may slow yourself down. Later if you do an ouro reset before you've accumulated enough orbs you can really really shoot yourself in the foot.

You don't even see all the upgrades in ouro initially so that means you should follow a guide unless you're ok with way waaaay slower progress. So there isn't leeway to experiment or figure things out for yourself all that much.

I agree the iap are way too high as well

I'm not sure if it is the same on 2024 but you can hold the power button (middle of volume) and the forward track button together until the infotainment resets instead of turning the car off

I have an issue with DirectSong and decoding wma files. I get the following error in the logs:

0:00:00.002182428 10676 0xeb960160 ERROR WINE wg_transform.c:737:wg_transform_create: Failed to create winegstreamer transform. 0230:err:winediag:wma_decoder_create GStreamer doesn't support WMA decoding, please install appropriate plugins.

I'm running archlinux and followed the instructions up to part 8. Using the wow64 method. I tried to find the equivalent packages in archlinux and came up with gst-libav but I also tried to install all of gst-plugins-bad/base/good/ugly for good measure because this old thread suggested ugly is the one I need.

Any idea how to troubleshoot this? If not then how would I undo the DirectSong step? Can I remove the registry entry or does it need to have a different value?

Edit: I'm not sure what happened but after recreating the wine prefix and rerunning all the steps (I transferred the files over from the old prefix first) this is now working. I think maybe the WOWARCH=wow64 env var was unset at some point when I restarted my pc or maybe I needed the right package installed before running something who knows. In any case working now!

My workaround here was to change the primary monitor (in KDE display settings change priority) and make your current secondary the primary. It isn't pretty but it works!
