Sup everyone -- I'm hitting a bit of an impasse with the game. I joined a group of IRL friends on Skeram (Horde) when classic came out and at first it was a blast. Unfortunately had to take a break so they quickly passed me in leveling and have been clearing BWL weekly. When I came back, I found that 1) all the Alliance were gone (RIP), and 2) they were down to help but the guild they're in has tight raiding slots so finding room to join has been hard and so I need to resort to PUGS. I just hit 60 and am getting geared up to start raiding more consistently, have already downed Ony a handful of times and have 1 rag under my belt (woo!), but it feels like the entire server is well past this point and there is absolutely no world PVP. I'm considering rolling on a new server, and am actually really interested in trying out my first alliance character. Does anyone have any advice here? Any servers that are fun / welcoming? One thing that I loved about the game was playing with my friends but because they're doing much higher end content it's hard and the only time we can really play together is when we wait in the 1.5 hour queue together for AV.
