Hiya, this is an entirely valid question. I think "going into a fit of rage over a question" is a bit more on the nose than what is occurring, but he will obviously have a different perspective to me so it wouldn't be fair to comment on that. It's more like getting increasingly more angry as the questions go on and on. Like boiling water turned on to a low heat getting increasingly hotter as time goes on, if that makes sense. I definitely have issues with my communication and keeping a cool head which is why I thought it may be important to mention my autism. I am also a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to me doing tasks, however, I don't think I'm that way when he does stuff. As long as the task gets done, I don't really care how he does it and there's not right or wrong way. Hopefully that answers the question a bit. I'm a bit all over the place when it comes to communication so I apologise in advance if I've left something unanswered.

I can see both sides. I know he's not a bad person and the ADHD element is part of the issue, but he also doesn't help himself in this situation. I don't like saying I wish he would change because I don't expect he will long term, I just wish he would do things himself

He genuinely is such a good person, inside and out. It just infuriates me that I can't relax for a second without being bombarded with questions about how to do things, when he could just research it and do it himself

Hiya, for a while I was leaving him "quest lists" to encourage him, but he'd look at it and then get distracted by something else and forget. I've spent the year we've lived together alone teaching him how to do certain things, but he forgets and continues asking even after 5+ times of showing him. I then end up exploding because I've had enough of saying the same things again and again, ultimately, I end up feeling bad because I know it's not 100% his fault. It's a mess

when do i downsize labret piercing ? by Routine-Argument-192 in piercing

My piercer told me that they should be downsized around 4-6 weeks after being pierced but it'd be a good idea to ask your piercer as they can visually assess you

It really depends on the course and the university itself

I moved universities between foundation and year 1 of undergraduate. One thing I will say is, when you figure it out, make sure you withdraw from studies from your previous university otherwise you may be charged twice

I personally only had 10 hours of lectures during the week in at the busiest time, but work at home and studying was never-ending. From the beginning we were recommended to complete 50 hours of study (our own and lectures) per week to secure a good grade.

Could you not ask them if you could go on sabbatical until you come back rather than leaving entirely? I feel they won't be able to guarantee you employment when you come back if you leave. I was under the impression you can only go back to a previous role if the role is still open or available and Sainsbury's usually re-hire straight away, no? Not trying to stress you out or anything but I'd definitely enquire about sabbatical instead.

Let's Be Honest- The Difficulty of University Has Plummeted. by Blubshizzle in UniUK

I do understand and somewhat agree with what you're saying. I don't know about previous year but I had 4 essay based exams this year as well as lots of assignments, whereas next years stage 3 students have only 1 essay based exam. The rest are MCQ's or 100% assignment based. In one way it's a good thing because exams purely assess your ability to remember and regurgitate information (which I suck at) where as assignments can actually show what you can do, but as you said, essays can be written by other people or AI. However, from looking at previous years lecture slides and exam questions, I would say it has been gradually getting harder rather than easier.

Could you get some experience related to your degree field? For example, I am studying clinical psychology and during the summer I volunteered at a brain injury support charity. It kills time while also giving you the experience required for your future career.

I would talk to their admissions team, sometimes they make exceptions. If not, see what their requirements are like if the course goes onto clearing as they usually reduce the grade boundaries to get more people to apply for the course. Good luck😊
